History[]

While Bart and Lisa were reading a Richie Rich comic book, they noticed a similarity in appearance between Richie and Casper, making them think about that Casper is actually Richie's ghost. Bart asks how Richie died, so Lisa said that he probably killed himself after realizing how hollow the pursuit of money was.

When Comic Book Guy tried to get rid of some comic books, including Richie Rich: Incorporates in Delaware, he made Bart buy them.

When Bart was in the prison, his good friend Richie Rich played his role in the Simpsons series. However, the episodes with him in weren't very popular.

• Richie Rich is a character from Harvey Comics, created by Alfred Harvey and Warren Kremer in 1953. Contrary to Bart's theory, he has appeared alongside Casper in several different crossovers.
