I Know Someone (
Summary[]
During training at a basketball court, Kindaka blocks Shin's hits, only for his shoelace to untie—just as planned. Heisuke is about to take a shot, but Kindaka lands a kick on Shin and attacks Heisuke from behind. Internally reflecting on their progress, Kindaka rejects Shin's want to brawl again, as he explains that Shin is at his physical limit and, with inborn traits such as mass and size, will never match Sakamoto or the Order in strength. Instead of trying to emulate Sakamoto, Kindaka tells Shin he should train his ESP, and Shin wishes for a mentor for just that. Kindaka says he knows someone.
Nagumo appears, and he reveals one other ESP user in the JAA: their secretive fortune teller. He and Kindaka explain that the fortune teller has 100% accuracy; 80% of the JAA's choices depended on them, and they could never be hit by a bullet. However, due to suspicion arising from to errors regarding X, the fortune teller was imprisoned in the JAA's underground jail—a violent facility beneath Okutabi Castle, divided into three layers based on prisoner depravity. Shin sees this as an opportunity for training.
At the JAA Assassin Support Center, Shin and Heisuke turn themselves in and are subsequently charged with aiding Sakamoto's crimes, getting them sentenced to imprisonment in the JAA Jail. Lu chides the two, fretting about the store's reputation and explaining to Aoi, but Shin tells her why they did what they did. Meanwhile, Nagumo wonders what Kindaka will tell Sakamoto. Kindaka says Sakamoto doesn't have to know.
