This article is about a Megazord in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. |
The DualDrive Megazord is a Megazord combination formed by DriveMax Zords 6 through 10: Drill, Shovel, Cement and Crane Drivers and Sonic Streaker.
Overview[]
The DualDrive Megazord is the secondary formation of the auxiliary DriveMax Zords with Drill as the right arm, Shovel as the left arm, Cement as the right leg and Crane as the left leg. It uses a defensive mechanism in battle by using its weapon to evade and attack the opponent with moderate agility.
Its final attack is dubbed as Full Power, where the Megazord fires a combined quartet energy beam of orange, cyan, green and indigo from the DriveMax Zords' limbs at the opponent.
Appearances: OO Episodes 26, 28
History[]
When Flurious with a team of Chillers and Moltor with a team of Lava Lizards damaged and captured the DriveMax Megazord and therefore also captured Mack Hartford in the process, they had to combine into the Super DriveMax Megazord to gain extra power against the combined efforts of Flurious's and Moltor's piloted machines. TV STORY-Follow the Ranger
DualDrive Megazord has been assembled and used only once: during the battle with Crazar, DriveMax Ultrazord, in a last resort measure, disassembles into DriveMax Megazord and DriveMax Zords 6 through 10 so that the auxiliary Zords form the DualDrive Megazord to face Crazar in place of the Ultrazord, marking the new Megazord's introduction; during this battle between DualDrive Megazord and Crazar, the Megazord eventually successfully harms Crazar with its power just enough so that Tyzonn may finish the battle through the destruction of Crazar completely via the power of a historical Mecurian battle spell that he uses against him - after that, this Megazord has never been seen for any purpose again onwards. TV STORY-Home and Away
This Megazord formation is one of the four Megazords in Operation Overdrive alongside the Flash Point Megazord that was not destroyed by Flurious when he wore the Corona Aurora to become Flurrex in the finale episode "Crown and Punishment".

Additional Formations[]
Super DriveMax Megazord[]
- See also: Super DaiBouken
The Super DriveMax Megazord is the combination of DriveMax Zords 1 through 9. When activated, Gyro Driver reforms and transfers onto Speed Driver while Drill and Shovel Drivers replace Dozer Driver and Sub Driver as the arms with the latter Drivers attaching to the back of DriveMax Megazord's legs: Dozer Driver transferring to the back of DriveMax Megazord's right leg and Sub Driver transferring to the back of DriveMax Megazord's left leg. DriveMax Megazord's entire body then rotates from only the torso downwards while Cement and Crane Drivers attach as the left and right feet respectively and the Wire Hook from Crane Driver becomes its new helmet.
Its final attack is dubbed as Full Power, having the Megazord skate forward on its legs with the speed of both Cement and Crane Drivers to charge up the large "horns" on the helmet, which it then uses in a charging attack to strike the target; it then turns around upon arrival at the other side to race back to the target and charge up the Drill and Shovel Drivers with energy before slashing then boring through the opponent, destroying them.
Appearances: OO Episodes 9, 12-14, 16-19, 27
DriveMax Ultrazord[]
- See also: Ultimate DaiBouken
The DriveMax Ultrazord is the combination of DriveMax Zords 1 through 10, combining the Super DriveMax Megazord with the Sonic Streaker. During this configuration, the Super DriveMax Megazord performs a ground-to-air transition as it briefly rolls across the ground and then jumps into the air. When the transformation begins, Gyro Driver transfers to the lower chest so that the Sonic Streaker, upon its disassembly into four sections, has its biggest section forming the wings followed by a flip-out long bar for each wing closing onto the Megazord's torso's midway point for security into place, along with the undercarriage forming the upper chest and the cockpit/nose of Sonic Streaker covering the facial section of DriveMax Megazord's head completely as a full helmet.
It is capable of flight courtesy of Sonic Streaker's wings and thrusters and the flying performance of its close combat skills. For the finishing attack, the Ultrazord charges the solar panel on its chest for a flaming energy blast in the shape of a firebird that destroys its opponent.
Appearances: OO Episodes 12-14, 16-17, 19, 21-23, 26-27, 30
DriveMax Ultrazord Rescue Formation[]
- See also: Ultimate DaiBouken Aider and Police
DriveMax Ultrazord can replace DriveMax Zords 6 and 7 (Drill and Shovel Drivers) with Rescue Runners 1 and 2 (DriveMax Zords 12 and 13) inherited from Flash Point Megazord - this replacement grants the Ultrazord the opportunity to boost its firepower abilities with an extension of firing weapons courtesy of the Rescue Runners' firepower ports; the change has one downside: the Ultrazord loses its ground and air close combat weapon capabilities, provided by Drill and Shovel Drivers, in exchange for the firepower enhancement.

Notes[]
- Like the DriveMax Megazord, the toy version of DualDrive Megazord is made from an entirely different mold, rather than being made from the original Japanese one, as was the case with all Megazords before it. Thus, the toy is also bigger than its Japanese counterpart.
- It had two versions of Zords 6-9, with the first models of 8 and 9 appearing like roller skates.
- Like the DriveMax Megazord, it suffered from cheap quality plastic and a lack of detail.
