Spirit of Life Clotho (命の精霊クロト Inochi no Seirei Kuroto, 21, 22, 31, & 42) is an entity with the power of life itself who usually takes on the form of an androgynous child-like being, cloaked and hooded in white, sporting a blank white mask. When the Zyurangers went into suspended animation, Burai followed them in his own chamber. However, an earthquake caused the cave where Burai was sleeping to collapse, crushing the helpless Burai to death. Daizyuzin personally asked Clotho to restore Burai's life, since he was the only person who could summon Dragon Caesar. He was restored to life, but only with a limited life force. Shortly after Burai's revival and his subsequent betrayal of Bandora, Clotho takes him to the Lapseless Room and gives him the Zyusouken. Clotho tells Burai that he has only has a limited lifespan and leaves him with a green candle that represents the time he has left. The Lapseless Room is a chamber where time stands still, and every time Burai goes out to aid his brother, the candle gradually melts away. After Bandora destroys the room, Goushi and Dan attempt to get the Water of Life from its guardian, who is actually Clotho in disguise. She reveals that even with the Water of Life, it is useless to save Burai's life, since he has already died once.
Clotho turns over the Water of Life to Dan and Goushi, and urges them to use it to aid a gravely ill child Burai had been striving to protect, to honour his last wish.
Clotho appears one final time, solemnly holding Burai's candle in her hand as it finally gutters out- signalling his death. She sincerely thanks him for all of his heroism, and assures that he will find eternal rest now.
Escorted to the Afterlife by a skeletal and superbly impassive rickshaw driver, Burai is elated to not see the young boys soul. As the rickshaw driver cackles, in impressed fashion Burai merely complements the refreshing breeze.

Etymology[]
- Clotho was the first of the three sister goddesses known in English as the Fates. Per the original Greek mythology, the trio of seamstresses determined the beginning, length, course, and end of individual human lives. Among the three, Clotho was the spinner and thus the maker of the mystical thread of life. The second sister, Lachesis, measured each thread. Atropos, the third sister, was the one to cut the thread, at which point a person died.
