This article is about a footsoldier in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. |
The Dokiita Golems were stronger versions of the ordinary Golems and minor antagonists in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.
History[]
After the introduction of Dragon Caesar and Gouryuuzin, Witch Bandora looks for a way to make her Dora Monsters and Golem Soldiers stronger. Shortly after the death of Dora Guzzler, Pleprechaun is able to locate the Dokiita Clay within the sewer systems of Tokyo using ground samples.
After creating Dora Franke as a prototype, and seeing his immense success against Daizyuzin and Dragon Caesar, Bandora has Pleprechaun use the Nendora Machine to create special Dokiita Golems from the Dokiita Clay. Their regeneration abilities are advanced to the point that they can split into two new Dokiita Golems from the scattered remains infinitely. Whilst Geki and Burai go on a quest to retrieve the Thunder Slingers to defeat the first batch, the Dokiita Golems overwhelm the Zyurangers and nearly kill them until Geki and Burai return. They use the Ranger Slingers to then vaporize the Dokiiita Golems, sparking off the events that lead to the first fight against Dai-Satan.
Personality[]
The Dokiita Golems were mindless footsoldiers completely focused upon defeating the Zyurangers for Witch Bandora.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Strength: The Dokiita Golems were stronger than any of the six Zyurangers and a single swing of their ball hands knocked Mei flat.
- Durability: The Dokiita Golems were completely immune to the Legendary Weapons and even direct hits from four Ranger Guns had no effect on them.
Abilities[]
- Splitting: The Dokiita Golem's signature ability where they were cut into chunks but the chunks fused together to form both the original Golem and a duplicate which could continue infinitely.
Weaknesses[]
- Vaporization: The Dokiita Golems were unable to reform if completely vaporized as seen with the Thunder Slingers.
Arsenal[]
- Fists: Several Dokiita Golems had no weapons and covered their hands and feet with simple gloves and boots.
- Energy Blasts: The Dokiita Golems without weapons for hands could fire a massive barrage of white blasts from thier fingertips like machine guns. This was able to take down four Zyurangers with one barrage.
- Ball Hands: Many Dokiita Golems had their right hands encased in large balls to use as clubs.
- Sword Arms: Many Dokiita Golems featured large blade-like rock formations in place of left hands hands which were razor sharp.
Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- The Dokiita Golems are voiced by Kazuhiko Kishino (岸野 一彦 Kishino Kazuhiko), who previously voiced the Golem Soldiers.
Design[]
- Like the regular Golems, the Dokiita Golems were inspired by the Golem of Jewish mythology, a humanoid statue made of clay that could be brought to life by a Rabbi.
Etymology[]

Notes[]
- The Dokiita Golems were the first upgraded minions in Sentai, as all previous foot soldiers were assigned to specific commanders as a variant; this would not become a more common practice until the various versions of mechahumans of Tokuso Sentai Dekaranger.
