The capital of the Space Shogunate Jark Matter.
Southern Cross (惑星サザンクãƒã‚¹ Wakusei Sazan Kurosu, Planet Southern Cross) is a planet located in the middle of the Minami Juuji System in which Don Armage, shogun of the Space Shogunate Jark Matter, is based. It also serves as the empire's capital and the seat of power.
After being freed from Akyanba's control, Naga Ray became aware that Don Armage was located somewhere in the Minami Juuji System but could not recall exactly where. 
TV STORY-Space.32: Orion, Forever Using the Genbikyo Kyutama to shrink down, Balance personally retrieved the precise constellation co-ordinates from Naga's head, allowing him to pinpoint Don Armage's location to Southern Cross. With this confirmation, the Kyurangers set off in the Orion Battler to Southern Cross in order to confront Don Armage. TV STORY-Space.34: Mysterious Masked Warrior, Appears
Advancing on Southern Cross, the Kyurangers found that they could not enter the Minami Juuji System as the entire constellation was protected by a barrier as well as a fleet of Moraimars and Moaiders, forcing a hasty retreat. TV STORY-Space.36: The Legend That Sleeps in Lucky's Homeworld
When Tsurugi Otori recalled that the Shogun's barrier was previously broken by a quartet of sages respectively from the Andromeda, Cepheus, Perseus and Cassiopeia Systems, the Kyurangers realized they could use the associated Kyutamas to recreate that feat.
