"No! This shouldn't be happening!"
―Porcupongo's final words before his destruction.[src]

Porcupongo was a Rinshi who held the spirit of the Porcupine and served as the main antagonist of the episode "Bad to the Bone".

History[]

Porcupongo serves Dai Shi and Camille. After Hamhock is destroyed, Camille orders Porcupongo to destroy the Jungle Fury Rangers whilst she goes to revive Grizzaka.

Porcupongo attacks Ocean Bluff and encounters the Power Rangers. Porcupongo can attack with whirlwinds of needles and is strong in close combat so, in the first fight with the Rangers, Porcupongo overwhelms the three and hits Lily with his needles with one getting stuck in her body which make her act like a biker girl.

The monster later returns and fights only Casey and Theo and is winning but Fran removes the quill and Lily returns to help her friends. The Rangers morph into Jungle Master Mode and defeat Porcupongo.

But he later grows only to be destroyed by the Jungle Master Megazord with Elephant Power and its Jungle Mace Engage attack.

Personality[]

Porcupongo was a brutal, arrogant, and cunning Rinshi who was a strong and resourceful fighter and a strong opponent for the Power Rangers. He managed to separate them by brainwashing Lily and temporarily disabled them, but was defeated when Lily returned to aid her friends. Porcupongo was intensely loyal to Dai Shi and especially Camille.

    • Quill Projection: Being a porcupine-based monster, Porcupongo could fire razor-sharp quills from his body.

Weaknesses[]

  • Durability Limit: Porcupongo's durability has limits, as seen when he was destroyed by the Jungle Master Megazord with Elephant Power.
