Abare Dinosaur Big Charge! (アバレ恐竜大進撃! Abare Kyōryū Dai Shingeki!) is the first episode of Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger. It is the opening episode of the season and of a two-part introductory storyline.
Synopsis[]
Asuka, AbareBlack, must gather together three humans with overflowing Dinoguts to become the Abarangers to face against the invading force of the Evolians and the brainwashed and rampaging Bakuryuu.
Plot[]
Asuka, also known as AbareBlack, rides through a barren wasteland on his Ride Raptor. He was chased by an Evolian Mothership. He tries to evade its blasts, but was ultimately knocked down. The things he was carrying alongside the Mothership were sucked into a portal to another Earth, and Asuka followed suit.
In Tokyo, giant dinosaurs have appeared in the city. The dinosaurs rampaged, causing wanton destruction. Asuka, appearing on a rooftop, notices Tyranno walking down a road. He attempted to reason with the dinosaur, but was unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, Ranru Itsuki chases after a purse snatcher on her bike. She manages to catch him and knock him out. It is then she hears a cry for help. Emiri was watching television when she similarly hears the same cry. An old man in a crowd, Ryunosuke Sugishita hears cries for help from the dinos. In Hakodate, Yukito Sanjo hears a cry for help. A young man, Ryoga Hakua had just woken up when Tyranno appeared. He joined the evacuation of his apartment block while marveling at the sight of a dinosaur standing before his eyes. Ryoga was knocked out while trying to save a dog whose chain was stuck during the evacuation.
The next morning, Asuka has lost sight of the rampaging dinos. He is searching for warriors who hold the power of Dinoguts, where he runs into Ryunosuke and Emiri. Asuka explains the Bakuryuu and the Evoliens to them.
Geilton, in the Evolien Mothership sends out signals to the Bakuryuu to go and rampage yet again. Ryunosuke and Emiri were given their Dino Braces, just as the Bakuryuu appeared. They try to transform into AbareBlue and AbareYellow, but the transformation was unsuccessful. It was then Yukito and Ranru appeared, snatching the Dino Braces and transforming into Abarangers. With their transformation, Tricera and Ptera were controlled. The two Bakuryuu struggled against Tyranno, as Geilton made his appearance.
As Asuka was about to be executed by Geildon, AbareBlue and AbareYellow saved him and battled Geilton. It is at this time Ryoga awakes and confronts Tyranno. Asuka sees him and AbareBlue throws to him the red Dino Brace. He was then thrown off the rooftop and swallowed whole by Tyranno. Tyranno then attacks Geilton, as he opens his mouth, revealing AbareRed.
Geildon summons an army of Barmia. The Abarangers easily defeats the grunts with their personal weapons, but Geildon proves a bit too strong. They unleash their Abare Mode, and defeat Geildon. It is then a Brachiosaur suddenly appeared.

- This is the first opening episode in Super Sentai where the regular opening credits do not play; while the opening theme is used, it is to footage of AbareBlack on Dino Earth. This will become a regular feature with opening episodes of many Sentai from here on, with the actual opening not used until episode 2.

- Pre-Credits Question: What is the mystery object coming that is making the ground shake?
- Answer: A massive, unknown Bakuryuu.
- Every episode of Abaranger has a "question" asked prior to the closing credits, with the "answer" revealed in a final scene after the credits but before the preview. In the first episode, there is no ending credits, so it is a brief commercial break prior to the final scene.
