Team Magma Hideout is a location introduced in Generation III.
Description[]
Team Magma Hideout is the base of Team Magma in Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Omega Ruby. The equivalent location in Pokémon Sapphire Version and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire is Team Aqua Hideout. Team Magma Hideout is located near Lilycove City. Team Magma Hideout becomes accessible only after Team Magma steals Captain Stern's submarine in Slateport City. Completing Team Magma Hideout is required since Route 124 is blocked by a Team Magma Grunt training his Wailmer.
Several Team Magma Grunts are fought in Team Magma Hideout. There are also several warp tiles to use. The last Pokémon Battle in Team Magma Hideout is against Tabitha, changed to Courtney in Pokémon Omega Ruby. After a battle, the Magma Admin vaguely informs of Maxie's whereabouts being a cave under the sea, and Route 124 becomes accessible.
In the original Pokémon Ruby Version only, after the player defeats Tate and Liza, the entrance to Team Magma Hideout is sealed, making it an unrevisitable location.
