This Umbreon is a Dark-type Pokémon owned by Spinel.
Biography[]
Out of all of his Pokémon, Spinel has the most fondness towards Umbreon, whom he considers as his dear partner, and rarely deploys Umbreon in battles unless being forced to do so. However, Umbreon would still be forced to comply to Spinel against its will when necessary.
Umbreon was first seen next to him when he was monitoring the Rising Volt Tacklers, then walked alongside its Trainer when he went out in disguise.
After taking Liko's pendant, Umbreon was seen watching its Trainer study it. After he put it away, Spinel patted Umbreon on the head.
Spinel was forced to send Umbreon out after his Magneton and Beheeyem were defeated by Quaxly, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Wattrel, where he ordered a single use of Snarl. Before he could act any further, Liko's pendant reacted with one of the ancient Poké Balls, causing Arboliva to emerge and angrily glare at Spinel. Aware of the massive Pokémon's threat, Umbreon tugged at Spinel's coat, which made him realize he was outmatched and he backed off. After his meeting with the other Explorer admins, Umbreon was seen watching the sunset with its Trainer at sea.
When cornering Liko and Amethio at Glaseado Mountains, Umbreon became aggressive after Spinel used a shard of Laquium on it, empowering Umbreon enough to defeat Amethio's Ceruledge immediately. However, it was placated after Terapagos neutralized the effects of the Laquium.
