Laquium

Laquium in a capsule.

Laquium (Japanese: ラクリウム, HepburnRakurium) is a mysterious mineral that is connected to Terapagos and the elusive Laqua.

Description[]

The Laquium takes on the appearance of a pink crystal. When used in a gas form, it can render a Pokémon into an aggressive and violent state that is berserk and increase their power to overwhelm a Terastalized Pokémon with minimal effort. When removed from the Pokémon's body, it becomes unconscious from the aftereffect.

History[]

100 years in the past, The Explorers, which consisted of Lucius, Rystal, and Gibeon, came across a large cluster of Laquium in the midst of a crater. Gibeon was fascinated with the mysterious mineral, but Lucius was concerned with how the surrounding flora was behaving and advised his friends to stay clear from the cluster. Despite the warning, Gibeon decided to exploit the power of the crystals which unfortunately started to have a negative effect on both the flora and the surrounding Pokémon. Sensing the possible danger to the world, Lucius, Rystal and their Pokémon decided to do what they could to put a stop to the Laquium's dangerous impact. Sensing the threat it would bring, Gibeon's Zygarde decided to use its own cells to prevent the crystals from growing out of control, but to no avail. Terapagos decided to utilise the power of the Six Heroes to seal the crystals away, with Lucius being stuck in the barrier. As a result of using a great deal of power, Terapagos was reduced to its dormant state and the Six Heroes were scattered across the world.[1]

Gibeon states in his chamber that he wishes to obtain the Laquium and locate Laqua.[2]
