Strategies[]
With[]
Flourish can be considered a more expensive, yet a more freely usable trick of Holo-Flora. You can play this trick anytime in the game, as long as you have the sun for it. It works well in decks that revolve around drawing cards instantly. For example, using this with Dino-Roar cards can make things go easier, as doing so activates their Dino-Roar ability twice. Flourish can also increase your chances of getting Magic Beanstalk, should you run a deck focused on them.
It is not recommended use this card in decks that focuses on swarming cheap plants, even though this decks can run out of cards which makes your defenses very vulnerable later on, or even make you lose. This is because Flourish is simply too expensive for these types of decks and you won't have time to play it, which means having another card in your hand will be better.
However, Flourish can be useful in decks where you need to draw a specific card or combo, for example, Plant Food or Onion Rings. Different heroes can find their own uses for this card: Green Shadow can use this card to get Magic Beanstalks faster or to put them in the deck. Chompzilla can try to draw Pepper M.D. and a heal card to buff him. Grass Knuckles doesn't have many good uses for this card because his decks are usually trying to end the game as quickly as possible, however he can still use Flourish to buff Tricarrotops. Captain Combustible can use this card with Re-Peat Moss to gain or activate it. This can be done with other heroes, however, Captain Combustible has more reasons to run Re-Peat Moss. He can also buff Veloci-Radish Hunter using Flourish.
Despite this being a Flower card, Chompzilla can't have it benefit from Power Flower or Briar Rose due to it being a Trick. However, Cosmic Flower can still conjure it.
Beware of Quickdraw Con Man, as playing this trick will force you to take 2 damage.
Against[]
While you can't counter this card directly, you could draw more cards than your opponent can use this, play Defensive End to make this card more expensive, or play Quickdraw Con Man to force your opponent to take 2 damage for each Quickdraw Con Man.
As for the card itself, it is based on your luck, so be prepared if your opponent gets a powerful card in their hand, as your opponent can get more choices to counter your strategy.
