"When You're Small" is a garage rock-power pop song performed by Danny Jacob in the episode "Hide and Seek". It follows a montage of acts one can do when small, as exemplified by the shrunk group of Phineas, Ferb, Buford, Isabella, Baljeet, and their new friend, Irving.

Danny Jacob: When you're small, every sink is a swimming pool
When you're small, a spare button's a plate
When you're small, everyone's gonna think you're cool
'Cause you're the only one who fits through a grate
If you wanna jump in, get a BB and a pin, use them for a bat and ball
You can ride on a cat, you can sleep in a hat, you know you can do it all!
Baby, when you're small
Baby, when you're small, yeah
When you're small, the kitchen sponge is a trampoline
When you're small, your dad's comb is a jail
Oh, when you're small, every TV's a movie screen
And your goldfish is a great orange whale
You can climb inside a paper airplane, and fly yourself down the hall
Every puddle's a lake, every crumb is a cake, and there's never any reason to crawl!
Baby, when you're small
Baby, when you're small
Mmm, baby, when you're small
Baby, when you're small

Background Information[]
- The original song and demo were written by Dan Povenmire and Martin Olson with helpful lyrical contributions by Kaz Prapuolenis and Kim Roberson who co-wrote and storyboarded the episode.
- When they are watching TV, the movie on the screen is the same one Phineas and Ferb watch in "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?".
- Baljeet is not seen at the end of this song.
- The kids appear to change shrunken size throughout the song and episode itself; they can be the width of a sponge, about small enough to hold a needle, or even small enough to hold a ring. At the end, they are microscopic.
