After trumpets of the apocalypse proclaim the fall of humanity, vampires arise from the shadows to rule the earth. Yūichirō wants just one thing—to get revenge by killing each and every vampire.
Yūichirō and his friends head back to the Demon Army to prepare for the final battle. At the base, Kureto struggles to stave off Shikama Dōji from controlling his body. But things quickly begin to fall apart when Shikama Dōji also tries to take over Shinoa and Yūichirō! Will they be able to stop the possession? Or will they lose their bodies to the first progenitor?

Cover Detail[]
Volume eighteen's cover features vampire third progenitor Lest Karr. Lounging in a large blue chair, Lest Karr tips his hat while also holding a glass filled with what is almost undeniably blood. The full color image displays the color scheme to Lest Karr's attire, including his navy blue jacket worn over his grey colored waistcoat and pants. His boots are the same color too. Around his white collared undershirt, Lest Karr wears a blue bow with the same colored blue ribbon lacing up his boots. Of the four feathers decorating his darker than navy blue top hat, three are blue where one is violet. The red and white braids in his hair are shown, as are his vampire red eyes.
Not predominately featured in any of the chapters in the volume, Lest Karr briefly reacts to the movements of the First in chapter 74. While the location is uncertain, the floor appears to be made of black and white tiles. A pale light shines in what seems to be an indoor area.
