After trumpets of the apocalypse proclaim the fall of humanity, vampires arise from the shadows to rule the earth. Yūichirō wants just one thing—to get revenge by killing each and every vampire.
The battle to save Ferid and Krul Tepes from Ky Luc and the vampires begins in full force, but it's not going to be easy. Ky Luc is a Fifth Progenitor and it’ll take a lot of coordination and teamwork to take him down. But Shinoa Squad and Guren have a plan — use the Seraph inside Yūichirō to overwhelm the vampire! But can Yūichirō keep himself in control of it long enough to defeat Ky Luc?!

Author's note[]
“ | I recently bought a new computer and I had to switch out the text editing program I've been using since my professional debut 17 years ago. I went from CoolMint to Hidemaru Editor. I hope I can get 17 years of use out of this program too. | ” |
“ | Volume 16 sees the end of the battle with Ky Luc. A certain character comes back too. I had a lot of fun drawing that scene. I hope you will continue to pay attention to that character's actions going forward. | ” |
Cover Details[]
Volume sixteen's cover features fifth progenitor Ky Luc, who appears to be standing within a large built up hall with an arched open door behind him. Ky Luc is featured heavily in the battle and aftermath occurring in chapter 60, along with chapter 61 and chapter 62. His orangey brown colored hair is depicted, as well as vampire red eyes. A pale blue neck scarf is tied around a white collared undershirt he wears. Over this is a purplish blue coat, and where the back is long it is flowing behind as in response to a current of wind, or power being generated. For what is being made, around Ky Luc's gloved hands, where there is a ring on his left index finger, there is a red and black substance. In it largely flowing over his hands, the generation gives the appearance that his fingertips are spiked, where it breaks off into streams the further this energy gets from him. A display, it is on Ky Luc's right hand that his weapon is being produced. The thick winding mass swirling around his wrist, this substance is forming into a red tipped blade.
