Program Geister is a limited-time program that features a series of Trials and MK-Challenges designed to push Reagents' limits with hallucinations in exchange for Geister tokens.
It was introduced on October 27, 2023 as a Halloween event through Major Update #3 and went until November 17, 2023.[1] It came with a new set of variators, new MK-Challenge: Drill The Futterman, Geister items, and two Legendary Reborn outfits purchasable through Geister tokens. In October 29, 2024, Program Geister event returns with the new cosmetics, catalog, and new MK-Challenge: Eliminate The Past.

Program Geister consists of MK-Challenges and Trials, with variators focusing on the effects of hallucinations. It also introduces a new set of variators, providing a new challenge with a focus on hallucinations and causing deadly confusion.

Drill The Futterman[]
Introduced in Major Update #3, Drill The Futterman is a MK-Challenge that takes place in the Fun Park, with reagents needing to hit Futterman targets and head to Mother Gooseberry's office to drill the unfortunate Bootleg Futterman.
The reagents start in the canal entrance, needing to pick Canal A or Canal B, with only 2 reagents able to enter each side. Once inside, reagents must make their way to the cauldron full of hearts next to the flame-blocked entrances. A heart must be thrown at the target nearby, and then 5 more must be found and hit, which allows the players to make their way up to Root Canal.
Heading down into the pump A/B area, reagents must avoid a Night Hunter while making their way to the office, to which they must press a button switch to activate the drilling cutscene. Mother Gooseberry will then emerge from a Murkoff door and the players must make their way all the way back to the Trial shuttle.
2024[]
This year, Program Geister event features 2 parts, with Trials and MK-Challenges shuffled in a bi-weekly rotation while keeping the variators intact in every difficulty.
It also features new evidence documents and new secondary objective. Unlike last year, some variators have been improved such as Hallucinations? with new Skinner Man scare jumps and Enraged Enemies have made Ex-Pops much more aggressive, reacting even to the slightest noise made by Reagents.

Eliminate The Past[]
Introduced in Program Geister's return update, Eliminate The Past is a new MK-Challenge that takes place in the Police Station. Reagents are tasked to locate and deposit as many document boxes as possible into the grinder before the timer runs out.
The Reagents start in the gymnasium with the task with an optional objective to find and deposit all 9 document boxes into the grinder within a certain time limit. Depending on how much doucment boxes have been destroyed, this affects the enemy density in the escape sequence: fewer boxes destroyed results in more enemies appearing, most boxes destroyed results in lesser enemies, and all boxes destroyed results in no enemies appearing at all.
Once the timer is up or all document boxes have been destroyed, the grinder deactivates. Reagents must then push the button in the gymnasium which activates the shuttles and exit countdown. They must proceed to the exit through Sector A (or Sector C when all boxes have been destroyed) and navigate their way towards the Trial shuttles in the parking lot before the exit timer runs out.

Geister Catalog
Program Geister event features a limited-time catalog with exclusive cosmetics for players to customize their Reagent character and Sleep Room cell. Players who had already obtained older cosmetics from previous year does not need to be purchased again.
Geister Cosmetics
Geister cosmetics can only be obtained from the Geister catalog and special tasks during the Program Geister event.
Geister Tokens
Completing each MK-Challenges or Trials and its secondary objectives, and Task Challenges from any programs reward varied amount of Geister tokens depending on the difficulty. Players can buy cosmetics from the Geister Catalog that can only be purchased for Geister tokens.
Geister Posters
Completing 10 special tasks from each part rewards 1 - 2 Geister posters for the player as a customization for their Sleep Room.
