Nunnally vi Britannia is a supporting character from the 2006 anime Code Geass. She is Lelouch vi Britannia's younger sister, who was blinded and crippled in the assassination of their mother, before being exiled to Japan. She is later appointed the new viceroy of Japan in an attempt to manipulate Lelouch, who has become the masked vigilante Zero.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]

• She's a very innocent, kindhearted, patient, understanding , and optimistic person despite her trauma, believing in pacifism and wanting to build a gentler world.
• She deeply loves her brother Lelouch, saying that she only wanted a world where they could be together.
• She shows no prejudice towards the Japanese, treating Suzaku kindly when he enrolls at Ashford.
• She refuses to believe that Suzaku could have killed Clovis and is grateful that Zero saved him.
• During the Black Rebellion, she urges the other students to go help Suzaku when his Knightmare is disabled, despite knowing that this would leave her defenseless.
• When she is appointed viceroy, she does all she can to make life better for the Elevens and tells off her corrupt advisor Lohmeyer for trying to undermine her, stating that she is the viceroy and will do as she wishes.
• She tries to reason with Zero when he comes to take her away, telling him that he should not use terrorism, and asks for his support in re-starting the Special Zone where the Elevens will have equal rights.
• She calls out Suzaku for lying to her about Lelouch, making Suzaku start to realize that he's wrong and should try to reconcile with Lelouch.
• She seems to agree with Schneizel destroying Pendragon, but this is because she was falsely informed that the capital had been evacuated beforehand.
• She has Kallen transferred to a more comfortable facility when she's a POW, and befriends her, while stopping Luciano Bradley from harming her.
• She refuses to flee her post during an attack, only reluctantly doing so because everyone else would have to stay and die otherwise.
• She defeats the Geass her father placed on her and opens her eyes through sheer willpower.
• She tells Lelouch that using Geass to control people is despicable and tells him that she never asked or wanted him to kill people for her sake.
• She hopes to bring world peace by making the Damocles a symbol of the people's hatred and then destroying it, hoping this will allow people to move forward to the future.
• She forgives Lelouch for his actions upon realizing his true motives, tearfully telling him she loves him as he dies in her arms.

What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]

• She turns on Lelouch and Suzaku in the final arc due to Schneizel's manipulations, despite normally being able to sense when someone is lying, and coldly declares them to be her enemies, refusing to believe they could have good reasons for what they're doing.
• She becomes complicit in Schneizel's plans, and repeatedly fires the FLEIJA bomb to wipe out Lelouch's forces. When confronted by Lelouch over this, she indicates that she's planning something similar to the Zero Requiem by making the Damocles a symbol of the people's hatred, with Lelouch himself noting that they're not so different in terms of "getting their hands dirty" to attain world peace.
