Edd, usually referred to as Double D, is one of the titular main protagonists of the 1999-2009 Cartoon Network animated series Ed, Edd, & Eddy.
He is one of Eddy's two best friends (along with Ed) who help him on his adventures.
He was voiced by Sam Vincent.

What Makes Him Near Pure Good?[]
- Like Ed, he was kind-hearted to him and Eddy.
- He is forgiving of others and tries to have an optimistic point of view.
- At times, he stands against some of Eddy's actions as he sees them as too extreme or cruel.
- When he saw Eddy and Ed sinking in what looked like quicksand, he wasted no time finding some rope to save them.
- He tries to stand up to Eddy's Brother when the latter was abusing and beating Eddy up.
- He along with Eddy saved Ed from being killed by Rolf during the cul de sac kids' rampage.
- When Eddy reveals that he lied about everything about his brother, Edd forgave him easily.
- He is one of, if not the single most consistently moral character on the show who often tries to do the right thing even when many of the others don't. In particular, he frequently tries to act as a moral compass for Eddy. He also showed a great amount of remorse over his participation in some of Eddy's pranks when he got sucked into them.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He usually participates in the Eds' scams even though he knows they're wrong.
- He can be self-righteous to the point of arrogance every so often. A good example of this is when he acts smug when Ed and Eddy's parents get their report cards instead of remorseful about it. Another example is when he refused to believe a phone Eddy is using is cursed.
- He laughed at Jimmy when he was given a wedgie by Eddy.
- He got into a fight with Eddy in the TV movie.
