Thobo was a humanoid man of a reptilian species. He served as an engineer with the rank of ensign aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2270s. He played three-dimensional chess.

History[]

In 2273, Thobo led a bomb squad to inspect an old Vegan Tripper-class commercial flyer. The vessel had brought Klingons Morg and Chetar from Klingon space to Telos, but was considered a filthy garbage scow. Thobo thought Denebian slime devils lived in a cleaner habitat. He reported to Kirk that no weapons were aboard. (TOS comic: "Double Bluff")

Thobo's species was not named, but resembled Saurians.
