Chatusram was a Human man who served as a lieutenant in engineering aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2260s.
Chatusram's speciality was weapons design.
History[]
In 2269, James T. Kirk asked Chatusram to design a chemical sprayer that could quickly deliver a powerful defoliant to incapacitate a flock of swoopers on Phylos II, as well as any Phylosians or other animate plant life that might obstruct a rescue mission to recover a kidnapped Spock. Leonard McCoy described the needed functions of the device.
Chatusram said that construction presented no problems and that he'd have three of them ready in an hour. The sprayers were built with foolproof mechanics and operated flawlessly in the field. (TAS - Log Two novelization: The Infinite Vulcan)
