X Crusher (Ｘクラッシャー Ekkusu Kurasshā) is an iron wrecking-ball type machine in Mega Man 6 that Mr. X pilots, as the boss of Mr. X Stage 4 to attack Mega Man, also being the final boss of this fortress. It is said that Mr. X likes to use it to get around in everyday life.

Attack Pattern[]
All the X Crusher does is swing back and forth from a chain in the ceiling, along the middle of the screen. The X Crusher goes low enough that it will smack Mega Man if he stands in the center. However, he is perfectly safe hiding in the corners of the arena. Despite this limited movement, the X Crusher can still attack by dropping a pink orb straight down, from the glowing spot in between its eyes. This pink orb moves slowly along the air, but once it touches the floor, it splits into 2 orbs that move opposite of each other along the floor. The 2 orbs also move quicker than the initial orb. It can be dodged simply by jumping, but at the start of the fight, the split orbs overlap with the X Crusher going left, forcing Mega Man to short hop over the orb without jumping into the X Crusher. Only the sides of the X Crusher are vulnerable to damage.
Weaknesses[]
The X Crusher is mainly weak to Flame Blast, which can defeat it in 7 hits. The Power Adaptor is also a weakness, doing 4 damage with a fully-charged punch. In addition, a fully-charged punch knocks the X Crusher away from Mega Man, and given the Power Adaptor's fast charge-up timer, he can keep knocking the X Crusher away repeatedly in a combo before the boss is destroyed. As with all bosses, the X Crusher takes 3 damage from a fully-charged buster shot.
Aftermath[]
Once the X Crusher is destroyed, Mr. X flies out from it with a hover chair. He says his scheme for world domination has failed, but he still has enough power to destroy Mega Man. He reveals that he is actually Dr. Wily in disguise (which spooks Mega Man), before escaping to his Wily Castle.

X Crusher appeared in the Rockman 6 manga. Like the game, Mega Man fought it inside Mr. X's fortress. After destroying it, Mr. X reveals himself to be Dr. Wily and escapes to his hideout.
Trivia[]
- When Mr. X speaks after Mega Man defeats the X Crusher, there is a typo in his speech text, with "failed" being misspelled as "faild!"
