Water Shield (ウォーターシールド Wōtā Shīrudo) is Pump Man's Special Weapon that the player obtains in Mega Man 10. When equipped with this weapon, a rotating shield of water surrounds the user. Unlike other shields the Water Shield isn't all together, but instead 8 water droplets slowly form around the user. Pressing the attack button once more deactivates the Water Shield and hurls the water out at high-speeds that spiral outward. Despite being a shield weapon, projectiles are still able to make it through due to the spacing between each water droplet.
Water Shield is Solar Man's weakness. It is also effective against the Weapons Archive when it copies Flame Man's data, and the second form of the Wily Machine.

- Water Shield has the unusual ability to disarm the shields of Shield Attackers. This ability is shared with the Bass Buster in Mega Man 10.
- The way the Water Shield spreads out when used while equipped is very similar to the way the Power Stone from Stone Man in Mega Man 5 is used.
- In Mega Man X DiVE, "Water Shield" is used as the English name for Swimsuit Roll's first active skill, Aqua Roll (アクアロール Akua Rōru), which functions like the charged Rolling Shield.
