Swordy (スウォーディン Suwōdin) is a sword knight virus from the Mega Man Battle Network series that wields ethereal swords. They attack by slicing three panels in front of them (having the range of a Wide Sword) and/or slicing two panels ahead of them (having the range of a Long Sword). In Mega Man Battle Network Swordys could also perform a third type of slicing attack, which had the range of a FighterSword. They are also able to use AreaSteal to increase their fighting range and corner their enemies. Because they can range from non-elemental to Aqua and Fire element types, the Swordy family can drop a variety of Sword Battle Chips when defeated.

Swordy Family[]

Swordy[]

Swordy1 Swordy is a grey variant with a red spike and purple blade. The sword and virus both are non-elemental. Swordy can strike with either a Long Sword (or Fighter Sword reaching 3 panels only in Mega Man Battle Network) or a Wide Sword.

Swordy2[]

Swordy2 Swordy2 is a gold variant with a blue spike and red blade. They function the same as regular Swordy but have more HP, move faster, deal more damage, and wield a sword of a fire element. Hence, their bodies are also fire elemental. They are especially vulnerable to aqua attacks.

Swordy3[]

Swordy3 Swordy3 is a turquoise variant with a purple spike and blue blade. They are similar to Swordy2 but move quicker, are stronger, and bear aqua elemental swords and aqua elemental bodies. They are especially vulnerable to elec attacks.

SwordyΩ/SwordySP[]

SwordyOmega SwordySP SwordyΩ (SwordySP in Battle Network 6) is a red variant with an orange spike and purple blade; in Battle Network 6 they are a black variant with a purple spike and blade. It's sword swings a life sword-like range. They are faster and stronger than the Swordy3.

RareSwordy[]

RareSwordy RareSwordy is a violet variant with an orange spike and blade. They are fire elemental and much stronger than Swordy2.

RareSwordy2[]

RareSwordy2 RareSwordy2 is a blue variant with a green spike and light blue blade. They are aqua elemental and much stronger than Swordy3.
