The Vibranium Detector was a machine built by Riri Williams to detect Vibranium.

Creation[]
Challenged by her professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to make a machine that could detect Vibranium, Riri Williams took that challenge, and built the Vibranium Detector in just a couple of months. With the detector built, it was obtained by the CIA.[1]
Atlantic Ocean Deployment[]
Sanctioned by the government of the United States of America, the CIA conducted a joint operation with the United States Navy SEALs on the Harvey Sub-Sea. They deployed the Vibranium Detector into the Atlantic Ocean and successfully detected Vibranium. They then called in Doctor Graham who sent Rita Salazar and Jackson down to investigate. Seeing that the drill had been busted up and that the detector worked, the rig's lights went out, and the two SEALs were killed by the Talokanil who took the detector to destroy it.[1]
Brought to Wakanda[]
Destroying the Vibranium Detector, Namor brought the detector to Wakanda and presented it to Queen Ramonda and Shuri. The detector was then brought back to Shuri's Lab, where she took it apart in an effort to find out who created it. Not able to get the identity, Shuri traveled to the United States of America with Okoye to visit Everett Ross, who gave them Riri Williams' identity.[1]
Capabilities[]
The Vibranium Detector can detect the altered frequency of Vibranium through materials such as water, stones, and heavy metals. It is also able to sustain deep underwater pressure for extended periods of time.
