History
Like in many realities, the X-Men of Earth-1081 are the worlds premiere team of mutants fighting for peaceful co-existence between humans and mutants. What is known about this reality's version of the X-Men is little. Presumably, their origins and early history is mostly the same as their Earth-616 counterparts as similar adventures have been referenced.
Confirmed rosters of the X-Men include a team led by Cyclops, which included Morph, Psylocke, Lila Cheney, Polaris, Wolverine and Jubilee. A Later roster led by Professor Xavier included Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Morph and Iceman.[1]
Most of the X-Men's history on this world has been told to the reality hopping Exiles by their teammate Morph who was taken from his reality to help fixed damaged realities. Below are a list of his accounts:
- Prior to being plucked out of time by the Timebroker to serve in the Exiles, Morph and the X-Men were battling a villain who called himself Stonehenge, an antagonist that is apparently unique to this reality.[1]
- In this reality, Jean Grey was briefly replaced by the Phoenix Force. The Force (posing as Jean) would destroy an entire solar system and be put on trail by the Shi'ar. The Phoenix Force would commit suicide to prevent herself from threatening the universe further.[2]
- The team once had John Proudstar as a member, his fate and history with the team is unknown.[2]
- Following an encounter with the alien Brood, a group of X-Men traveled through space for two weeks in a Skrull saucer.[3]
- At least Morph was captured from Earth-1081 by Mojo and forced to provide entertainment to the Spineless Ones, suggesting a clash with this realities X-Men.[4]
- The X-Men opposed Moses Magnum's attempt to destroy Japan. Magnum's base was destroyed by Banshee.[5]
- During Morph's tenure as a member of the X-Men, the group clashed with the Juggernaut.[6]
