- Spawn/Batman is a crossover between DC Comics and Image Comics characters first published in 1994. Although the comic is obviously unrelated to Marvel, it was translated and reprined in Italy in 1997 by Cult Comics, which in turn was an imprint of Marvel Italia focused on comics from other publishers. Since 1998, Marvel Italia and Cult Comics are part of Panini Comics and are independent from Marvel Entertainment.
