Quiver and his friend Sham were taken to the processing plant Floodgate which was operated by the Theatre of Pain whose clientele paid to see people tortured while other people were dissected for their organs. The X-Men shut down Floodgate and Doom offered all the victims of Floodgate a chance at a new life in Halo City.^[1]

Sham went on to join the X-Men but Quiver apparently did not, preferring administrative work.^[2]
