Quote1 But then I start thinking back, to when I was just starting out as Spidey... and I let a thief get away because I had more important things to do. A few nights later, that same thief killed my Uncle Ben... which taught me one heck of a life lesson about power and responsibility. Quote2

History

Early Years[]

The history of this version of Spider-Man closely mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart up to a point, but his life seems a lot less complicated.

As Spider-Man

He battled his enemies (such as Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Vulture) many times.

Framed in the murder of Norman Osborn[]

One day, Peter Parker went into battle with his nemesis the Green Goblin at the Oscorp plant. Goblin destroyed a large amount of chemicals, which led to an explosion. Peter managed to escape, but Norman apparently died in the fire. The next morning, police found footage of the plant showing Spider-Man. Spider-Man was framed for the murder of the Oscorp chief.[4] Harry Osborn, Peter's best friend, became obsessed with Spider-Man and even began going to a psychiatrist.[5]

Became a Man-Spider[]

Spider-Man becomes a monster similar to Man-Spider

Kraven once injected Spider-Man with a prehistoric spider's venom, hoping the venom would stun him but it instead turned him into a monster similar to Man-Spider. Spider-Man was later cured by Dr. Curt Connors after Spider-Woman captured and brought Spider-Man to him.[6]

Future[]

Peter retired from being Spider-Man due to a problem in his ankle. He married Mary Jane Watson and the two had a daughter, Mayday, who was named after Peter's Aunt May. Mayday grew up to continue her father's legacy as Spider-Girl.[3]
