Peter Parker (Earth-42155)

Peter Parker's story was mostly the same as his Earth-616 counterpart, until the day he went to witness the scientific exhibition. A radioactive spider that fell into the rays of the Isotope Genome Accelerator missed Peter due to him covering his eyes from the flash the rays emitted. The spider, in turn, bit Cindy Moon, who began feeling unwell, and left. Inspired by the exhibition, Peter wrote a report on the effects of radioactivity, presenting it to the class. Later that day, when his aunt May and uncle Ben were watching a report on the new superhero in town, a burglar broke in, threatening to shoot. Peter tried to attack the burglar, but Ben knocked him out, as the burglar shot Peter in the leg. After that, he was sent to the hospital, leaving him permanently limping. His classmate and bully, Flash Thompson, learned of the incident, warming up to Parker and starting to see him as a friend.

Later, during Sandman's attack on the school, Cindy Moon, now operating as Silk, knocked him out and handed him over to the police. Inspired by Flash's words on Peter assisting Silk rather than just looking up to her, Peter build several devices that could help her in her battles. After contacting her and meeting up with her regarding this, she was initially hesitant due to her being fine on her own, but decided to accept. Peter's technological progress sparked interest from Dr. Norman Osborn, head of Oscorp, who offered Peter to work for him, which he accepted.^[1]
