The Nameless Isle, or Siojina-Kisua (from its ancient name),[2] was an island in the Western Ocean, lying south of the coast of Shem,[1] down the Black Coast, west off the grasslands and the city of Abombi.[4]
It was a remnant[3] (or more likely an island possession) of Valusia.[1]
History
Pre-Cataclysmic Age[]
The Nameless Isle, or Siojina-Kisua, was an island in the Western Ocean, and part (or more likely an island possession) of Valusia.[1]
A temple of alien architecture lied on the isle, and was home to the toad-god Tsathoggua worshiped by Serpent-Men.[1] and ally of the Elder God Set. When the Serpent-Men realized that the Cobra Crown was defective, they hid it under a shrine to Tsathoggua on the, guarded by a living stone idol of him.[5]
Hyborian Age[]
In the Hyborian Age, the Nameless Isle lied south of the coast of Shem.[1] It was a legend, and its ruin was said to attest the powers of the Serpent-Men.[3]Points of Interest

- The Nameless Isle was created by L. Sprague de Camp and Lin Carter in Conan the Buccaneer (1971). The novel was adapted in Savage Sword of Conan #40 ("A Dream of Blood", May, 1979) and 41 ("The Quest For the Cobra Crown", June, 1979).
- Another "Nameless Isle" with a Temple of the Toad and inhabited by a "toad-thing", the Isle of Hidden Gold, was introduced by Roy Thomas in "He Who Waits -- in the Well of Skelos!" (Conan the Barbarian #73, April, 1977), a story "freely adapted from a plot by Robert E. Howard".
