Barnooka is the captain of a spaceship that engages in interstellar transport of goods. He stopped after noticing the signal of Johnny Storm and told the Fantastic Four that the universal currency called the "Credit" had become useless, but stated he could tow their Fantasti-Car to the next port in exchange for something he needed. Upon sotting Ben Grimm, he assumed they were going to take part in Casino Cosmico's open challenge. Johnny took advantage of this and made a deal about towing their car to the casino in exchange for access to front-row seats at its arena.[1]
