Synopsis for "Blood Truce"
After the end of the Cold War, former KGB torturer Dmitri Panshin intends to escape Russia to be hired by the U.S. Government, under S.H.I.E.L.D. protection. In Euro Disney, he's attacked by armored imbecile Agent Orange, and by the Titanium Man (who is secretly working for AIM to make Panshin an offer); S.H.I.E.L.D.'s "Dum Dum" Dugan is injured but Panshin escapes. Nick Fury summons Captain America to protect Panshin, even if neither really wanted him on their side. A secret conspiracy of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will go against orders and try to kill Panshin anyway.
In Prague, Agent Orange tries to get Panshin when he's pickup up his son Sergei. With the meddling of the Titanium Man, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain American, Panshin escapes but Agent Orange kidnaps Sergei. Captain American and S.H.I.E.L.D. agree to an uneasy truce with the Titanium Man and A.I.M., while Panshin surrenders himself to S.H.I.E.L.D. to ask them to rescue his son. The conspirators have Agent Orange contact S.H.I.E.L.D., pretending to be Hydra, and offer to swap Sergei for Panshin; Panshin agrees. When the exchange is done, the Titanium Man tracks them to the Helicarrier. Although the conspirators had expected this and locked the Helicarrier down, even arresting Dugan and other agentes who would oppose them, Captain America, the Titanium Man and Nick Fury go to the rescue; conspirator leader Gittes had been ready only for Fury, as he could easily claim that the supposed Fury was a Hydra LMD. Captain America and the Titanium Man beat Agent Orange. Captain America then rescues Panshin from a cell; the conspirators confront him, but one of them refuses to shoot someone like Captain America, and another one hits Gittes, understanding that Gittes' methods are immoral.
Talking to Fury, Captain America decides that if anyone has really won in this fiasco, it had been Sergei, Panshin's young kid.
