Synopsis for "Scavenge World"
A week has past since Commander Adama became stuck in the Memory Inducer. While patrolling the neverending starless void, Athena catches something on her long range scanners. Together with Starbuck and Boomer, she discovers a mechanically contructed world of spare parts, scavenged from hundreds of derelict spacecraft. They recognize one of the ships currintly being dismantled as the fleet's missing Agro-Ship. Athena and Boomer land their Vipers in Scavenge World, where various alien being immediately begin to pull apart their vehicles. Starbuck also lands, and uses his laser pistol to fend off more scavengers. He notices that some of the aliens wear parts of Cylon armor.
Starbuck makes a break for it, but Athena and Boomer have been knocked unconscious and are being carried away. However, Starbuck becomes distracted when he runs into various beings gambling with cards. He sits down to join them, and by doing so, his pursuers lose his trail. Back on the Galactica, Apollo orders a red alert, but Sire Uri counters his command. At that point, Cylons attack the Galactica. Tigh arrives on the bridge and orders the helmsman to move the Galactica between the Cylon Raiders and the rest of the fleet before ramming their enemies.
During the card game, Starbck wins the ensignia of rank from his opponent, General Tragg, but his pursuers have doubled back and found him. Athena and Boomer wake up in a dingy prison cel and are soon taken to Eurayle, who rules Scavenge World and considerss all her followers to be part of her family. Next to her stands "General" Starbuck who's insignia now gives him full privileges of rank. Starbuck makes a deal with Eurayle to deliver her enough Cylon 'spare parts' to build a whole new Scavenge World if she helps the Colonials escape the black void. At that moment, the Colonial fleet arrives, and Eurayle is upset because there are far more ships than Starbuck had implied.
Starbuck explains his plan to Apollo over de Code Box: all the missing ships and crewmembers will be returned if the Colonials lure the Cylons into a trap that leads to Scavenge World. When Starbuck inquires how Adama is doing, Eurayle reveals she has certain abilties that she could possible use to rescue the Commander. In return for his life, she only asks one thing: Starbuck. She adds that exchanging a general for a commander is a fair trade.
