Small Cheep Cheeps are a small variant of Cheep Cheep introduced in Paper Mario: Color Splash.

Small Cheep Cheeps have the same appearance as regular Cheep Cheeps, except they have been shrunk by Kamek's magic.

Small Cheep Cheeps are found in the Sacred Forest, where they hop out of the rivers across the bridges, and can engage Mario in battle through this method. One of the Small Cheep Cheeps is also holding one of the five pieces of the Mini Paint Star. A Small Cheep Cheep has a Battle Card, numbered 3.
In battle, Small Cheep Cheeps are not that strong and only attack by leaping at Mario, any attack is strong enough to bring one down as they have 10 HP and 1 Attack Power.

Small Cheep Cheeps are commonly found in all three fishing holes, Overlook Mountain, Shogun Studios, and Full Moon Island, but they are not fought as enemies.

- With their size, Small Cheep Cheeps somewhat resemble Baby Cheeps. However, unlike Baby Cheeps, Small Cheep Cheeps can take leaps out of the water and are not protected by Big Berthas.
