The Piranha Pipes is an unlockable Heavy Class kart which appears in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. It is made of green Pipes, which are best known for warping Mario into different areas, and for being Piranha Plants' homes, where they would pop out and try to bite the player. One pipe has the driver, and the pipe behind that is the character who throws the items. This kart is mainly for Petey Piranha, but can be used by any Heavy Class character. It can be unlocked by earning a gold trophy by finishing the Mirror Mode Star Cup in first place.
