Krystal is a character from the Star Fox series, in which she first appears in Star Fox Adventures. Krystal is the love interest of Fox McCloud. Krystal made her first Mario-related appearance in Donkey Konga 3 JP, in the form of a cameo. Krystal has also appeared in the Super Smash Bros. series.

In Donkey Konga series[]

Krystal makes a cameo appearance as one of the unlockable badges. It depicts her Star Fox: Assault artwork, although cropped to show her face. She makes another cameo in Multiplayer battle, in which her face is depicted on the Queen playing card. Like Krystal's badge, the card depicts her Star Fox: Assault artwork cropped to show only her face.

Donkey Konga 2 (international)[]

The same badge of Krystal in Donkey Konga 3 JP makes a reappearance in international copies of Donkey Konga 2, having the same role as before.

In Super Smash Bros. series[]

Krystal is one of the characters present during the Lylat Cruise conversation, activated if any of the Star Fox fighters perform their Smash Taunt there. Aside from this, Krystal is also featured as a trophy and as three Stickers, depicting her Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox: Assault, and Star Fox Command artwork, respectively.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[]

Krystal makes a cameo appearance as a collectible Trophy.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[]

Aside from retaining her Trophy cameo from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Krystal also returns within the Lylat Cruise conversations.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]

Krystal is most prominently featured as an Assist Trophy. When summoned by a fighter, Krystal says "Try me!", and uses her staff to cast ice spells and swing at nearby opponents. It is possible for Krystal to be KO'd. When departing, she says "You're not ready yet!".

Just as before, Krystal returns in the Lylat Cruise conversations. There is also a Legend-class primary spirit of Krystal, depicting her artwork from Star Fox Adventures.
