- Not to be confused with Gold Egg, a vehicle in Mario Kart Tour.
A Golden Egg is a battle enemy in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, dropped by a background Bandit in Somnom Woods if thrown with a Taunt Ball. Gold Eggs appear exactly as their name suggests, an egg made of gold.
Battle[]
Golden Eggs are never encountered on the overworld, and a battle of one is instead initiated by throwing a Taunt Ball at a Bandit if it is in the background. When the Bandit drops the Golden Egg, it begins to move and clink everywhere. To battle it, the player must hit the egg with their hammer when it is moving around, then it goes to the opposite side of Mario and Luigi (unless it escapes). It has very high Defense stats but low HP.
