Burying the Hatchet is one of Wario-Man's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! and one of Wario Deluxe's microgames in WarioWare Gold.
Gameplay[]
The player has to move Wario's hand match up with Mario's. If done successfully, the sound of generous applause can be heard in the background. If the objective is not met, the player loses the microgame, and the picture between Wario and Mario will turn black and white and split apart. In WarioWare Gold, losing the microgame instead shows Wario looking back as he moves past Mario's hand.
Difficulty levels[]
The changes in each difficulty level involves the movement of Mario's hand. All difficulty levels except the second level have the same differences between versions.
- Level 1: Mario's hand does not move.
- Level 2: In WarioWare: Twisted!, Mario's hand remains in one place before moving to another, while in WarioWare Gold, Mario's hand moves until Wario gets closer to him.
- Level 3: Mario's hand moves constantly.
