Aaron Davis - also known as the Prowler, is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Rio Morales) of the 2020 Marvel superhero game Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and a minor character in it's 2023 sequel, Marvel's Spider-Man 2. He is the uncle of the game's protagonist, Miles Morales, and the brother of his deceased father, Jefferson Davis. He moonlights as a high-tech thief for hire who fell out with his family due to his criminal ways. Years later, he gets involved with Miles due to finding out he is the new Spider-Man, leading him to try to protect him from the Roxxon and Underground.
He was voiced by Ike Amadi.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He is an incredibly likable character thanks to being a chill uncle who likes to work with his brother and nephew on stuff like making beats in addition to being a hi-tech thief.
- Cares deeply for his family. A lot of his actions he takes throughout Miles Morales is down for the safety of his nephew and likes to give him life advice. He also reminisces about his brother a lot and regrets not keeping his promise about giving up his life of crime to him.
- Figured out that Miles is the new Spider-Man by being reminded of moves he used which brought back memories of Aaron and his brother.
- Helps Miles navigate by Roxxon lab by hijacking its systems.
- Tells Miles to tell Phin Manson/The Thinkerer that he wants to join the Underground in order to get more Intel.
- Sets Phin up to be captured by Roxxon by asking Miles where they are meeting up, then informing Roxxon of their location.
- Manages to take Miles out in mid air.
- During his fight with Miles, he uses his holographic tech in creative ways that can catch Miles off guard.
- Saves Miles and Rio from a Roxxon guard and helps Rio save several passerbys from the Roxxon and Underground war.
- Redeems himself by turning himself in while also exposing Simon Krieger's crimes to the world, allowing him to be arrested.
- Once met a client under a sigh at Times Square in order to blend in with the crowd.
- Uses his tech to keep tabs on the city.
- Hid his spare tech in buildings using secret entrances and lasers.
- Hacked into a stadium to watch a baseball game through his mask.
- Once broke into Braxton Laboratory to steal their prototypes. Although the heist went wrong due to a double crossing, he still manage to stash his own tech in the vents for safekeeping.
- Achieves his goal of getting back into his family as Rio - Miles's mother and Jefferson's brother, helps him move into their apartment.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- Was a thief for hire who worked for several shady clients like Kingpin or Simon Krieger.
- Sold Phin Manson out to Roxxon during a meeting she was having with Miles.
- Captured Miles mid air and imprisoned him to keep him safe. When Miles breaks out, he tries to fight him.
- Once mugged a client's boss.
- Hacked into a baseball stadium so he could watch the game for free.
- Tried to steal tech prototypes from Braxton.
