Spear is a Copy Ability, debuting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
Games[]
Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[]
Spear makes its debut in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, where Kirby obtains a spear as a weapon. He can continuously jab at enemies in front of and behind him, and also throw an infinite amount of spears. By charging up the spear, Kirby can twirl it above him to fly for a short time. Spear is obtained from Pierce and Lanzer.
Spear also appears in the remake, Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, functioning the same way.
Bandana Waddle Dee acts as a permanent version of Spear, utilizing a similar moveset.

Trivia[]
- Spear is one of a few abilities to have more than one move underwater, the others being Parasol, UFO, and Sword (while standing on a surface in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad).
- Bandana Waddle Dee's move set is identical to Spear's in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake.
- The Triple Throw move still exists in the code of Kirby: Triple Deluxe. However, it can only be accessed through the means of hacking. The move is fully functional, though it lacks particle effects. The reason it was cut is unknown.
