In an alternate timeline, Arata Kagami (加賀美 新, Kagami Arata) is Kamen Rider Gatack (仮面ライダーガタック, Kamen Raidā Gatakku, Masked Rider Gatack).
Biography[]
Arata Kagami was seen to clear off the route to have civilians to not get caught into the battlefield of Zect vs Neo Zect. But Kagami later met Soji Tendo, ignoring Kagami's warning and walked off on his own. Before Kagami was able to tell Tendo off, he got called on Zect's chase on Neo Zect.
During the chase of Zect on Neo Zect organization, Kagami came in the middle of the clash before the fighting started and told the groups to call the fight off so they won't harm each other and only focused on defeating Worm. Tetsuki Yamato, the leader of the Zect troops, accepted Kagami's favor and kneeled on Hidenari Oda, the leader of Neo Zect, to have him and the rest of the Neo Zect to come back to Zect. Unfortunately, Hidenari stepped on Tetsuki and called him and the rest of the Zect members to be pathetic dogs and Hidenari won't let himself alongside the rest of his groups to be like Zect. This lead to have Kagami to be caught in the fight of Zect and Neo Zect with Tetsuki transformed into Ketaros and Hidenari transformed into Hercus. Daisuke Kazama also joined Neo Zect and transformed into Drake with Kagami transformed into Gattack. The fight wasn't taking a long time as Soji Tendo appeared and showed his strength as Kamen Rider Kabuto, beating both sides in ease and offered them his strength with a note that it would be expensive.
Later, Kagami worked on Bistro alongside Hiyori Kusakabe and was encouraged by Yumiko Takemiya to confess on her to get married. But, Tendo suddenly came in and told Hiyori to cook a great mackerel for him, leading Kagami to cut the mood and dragged Tendo outside to talk on what he wants. Tendo explained that he would join Zect to destroy Neo Zect by becoming their group which initially deemed to be a hollow word. But before Kagami went to spill his rage further, Hiyori stopped Kagami.
Kagami was later chosen to be the lead of Jacob Ladder's plan alongside Tetsuki to draw a meteor to be destroyed and replenish its water to make Earth to be lively again. During the plan's progress, Tendo appeared on the satellite with Tetsuki telling Kagami to go on with the mission while he was facing Tendo. In rage, Kagami followed the order and successfully drew the meteor. But much to Kagami's shock, a bigger meteor appeared and destroyed the meteor with the water supply and got the call to get off from the satellite.
Kagami chased over Tendo after Tendo had witnessed the power of the golden Kamen Rider, Caucasus. Kagami was mad at Tendo because he ruined Jacob's plan with Tendo later calming him down as Tendo already knew that Jacob'd plan was a ruse to lure more Worm to come out instead of getting water. But before Kagami became completely calm, he got a call from Yumiko that Hiyori's condition was getting worse. Kagami and Tendo went to Hiyori and asked the doctor if Hiyori could be saved, only to receive that the doctor had no other choices and Hiyori would die very soon. Kagami asked on why Tendo followed him and worried Hiyori with the reply that Hiyori is his sister. In place to give farewell to Hiyori, Tendo let Kagami and Hiyori to marry each other and gave his blessing until Hiyori's last breath. After the depressing farewell, Tendo got a call from Shura Hokuto, the spy member of Zect who initially joining Neo Zect to destroy it. Tendo told Kagami about Zect's true plan after he screamed in anger to learn how far Zect had played with humanity's heart.
Kagami and Tendo went off to Jacob to stop Riku's hidden plan to explode the Worm Meteor to awaken the Worm inside. But just after they had reached the satellite, Caucasus had waited and made a quick beating to them. Kagami tried to outwit Caucasus' Hyper Clock Up with the Gravity manipulation room's activation, but with no avail. Caucasus explained that the higher ranks of Zect were alongside him and he already knew that Tendo was after the Hyper Zecter all the time and prepared to destroy Tendo first. Kagami, in a fit of rage, blocked Caucasus' Rider Kick, giving a chance for Tendo to steal the Hyper Zecter and kicked Caucasus off from the satellite. Kagami, while fatally injured, was thrown into a capsule and sent off afterwards by Tendo. But unfortunately, Caucasus was able to land on Kagami's capsule and killed him by destroying the glass of the capsule, making Kagami die from the lack of oxygen as a result.
However, Tendo accessed Hyper Kabuto form and turned back time, preventing Caucasus to kill Kagami and killed Caucasus with Hyper Kick, then flew towards the Worm Meteor. Kagami asked on what Tendo's plan would be. Tendo answered that he would send the meteor back to seven years prior to when the first meteor collided. Thethe world finally reset as Kagami alongside all life on Earth to disappear and reappear again with the new restarted world. In the DC version, Kagami alongside Hiyori would play with Tendo in the beach together while laughing.

35th Masked Rider Anniversary File[]
Kagami is one of a group of five characters from Kabuto who appears to host the 35th Masked Rider Anniversary File, a collection of five featurettes shown during episodes 23 through 27 of the series. This segment acted as a look back to the Kamen Rider franchise and an early advertisement for the God Speed Love movie.

Masked Form (マスクドフォーム, Masukudo Fōmu) is a heavily armored form resembling a pupa. This is Gatack's default form, armed with the Gatack Vulcan (ガタックバルカン, Gatakku Barukan) to mow down any Worm unfortunate to stray in Gatack's line of sight in a hail of bullets specialized to kill Worms, until he opens up the horns on the Gatack Zecter, like a switch, to initiate the Cast Off (キャストオフ, Kyasuto Ofu) command.

Rider Form (ライダーフォーム, Raidā Fōmu) is the sleeker, faster, and more offensive form that closely resembles the stag beetle motif. In this form, Gatack has access to the Clock Up (クロックアップ, Kurokku Appu) command which allows Gatack to travel at near-light speeds to match the speeds of the Worms. By pressing a button three times on the belt in succession, Gatack can perform his tachyon-powered Rider Kick (ライダーキック, Raidā Kikku), a jumping roundhouse kick. Gatack also has a Rider Cutting (ライダーカッティング, Raidā Kattingu) attack, where he takes the Gatack Double Calibur (ガタックダブルカリバー, Gatakku Daburu Karibā) and uses them to perform a scissor-like cutting attack.
