The Broccoli Overlord (also known as Broccoli Alien Overlord and Commander Broccoli) is one of the two main antagonists (Besides Grapefruit) of the TV show The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange, which is a spinoff of the original Annoying Orange YouTube channel.
He is the leader of the Broccoli's.
He was voiced by Rob Paulson.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
General/Background[]
- During his childhood, when his mother was reading Snow White to him, while he did at first root for Snow White, he then photo sympathized with a wicked witch instead, which causes him to become evil and ultimately creating his Broccoli manifesto.
- He dreams of being in a world without fruit and always creates ways to wipe out all fruit on earth and take over the world afterword's, ultimately showing that he is a genocidal leader who has a massive hatred for fruit.
- Because of how dangerous and threatening he can be, this often leads to Orange and his friends being scared of him because of all the horrendous actions he has committed, though this does fade away in Season 2 as Orange and his friends eventually become more annoyed then afraid when he shows up.
- He doesn't care for his Broccoli minions, as while he does mention them in his plans of killing all fruit and ruling the world and does take them along with him sometimes, he isn't seen saving them or protecting them, proving that he doesn't really care for them.
- He also did kill one of his minions just because he was wearing cologne, proving more that his care for his minions isn't really there.
- While Orange himself did arguably do worse due to inhaling the entire universe, it should also be noted that Broccoli Overlord is a spin-off character from a series with a lower heinous standard where even Orange himself isn't seen committing any crimes at all.
- It should also be noted that Broccoli Overlord is more intentionally evil compared to Orange being more chaotic neutral in vast comparison.
The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange[]
- In Night of the Veggie Zombies, he converted discarded vegetables that were thrown away by kids into veggie zombies, which caused them to feed on the flesh of living fruits and putting the fruit species in danger due to the zombie apocalypse.
- In Fruitastic VoyOrange, he planted a laser canon in Nerville's brain which caused him to be hazardous because of it.
- When Dr. Fruitenstein refused to shrink him to microscopic size and wanted to go golfing, he shot at his golf bag completely destroying it as a way to force him to do so anyway, which eventually caused Dr. Fruitenstein to refuse to change him back to normal size.
- He tried to kill Orange and his friends by chasing them through Nerville's head and shooting their ship down with lasers, failing as Orange and his friends managed to get out safely.
- In Defending Your Fruit Cart, he tried to destroy Daneboe's grocery market and wipe out the fruit cart by aligning a food army of Orange's worst enemies to kill off Orange and anyone else in the supermarket.
- He is also responsible for Nerville being frozen by the Ninja Broccoli's due to them teaming up with him, giving him a fate worse than death.
- He even gave Orange 8 hours to surrender or he would hold Nerville captive forever
- After the army of Orange's worst enemies got wiped out by a produce truck due to being distracted by Orange's babbling, Broccoli Overlord furiously tried to kill Orange one more time by shooting him dead with his laser ship, failing due to a produce truck hitting him as well.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is way too comedic to be Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil, as he is a card-carrying villain who acts way too over the top with his villainy and therefore is never taken seriously in the slightest,
- It doesn't help the fact that Orange and his friends no longer fear him like they used to in Season 2 and instead become more annoyed when he shows up.
- He also has a comedic defeat of being hit by a producer truck, spinning out of control in his mothership, and crashing into an asteroid that blows up afterword's all while screaming in a funny way as it happens.
- In Escape from the Island of Dr. Fruitenstein, he does have some "pet the dog" moments in that episode as he does help Orange and his friends escape the island and from Dr. Fruitenstein after he betrays him due to him planning to merge fruits and vegetables together which horrifies him.
