Shizune is a supporting character in the Naruto anime/manga series and the Boruto series. She is an elite jonin of Konohagakure. She is also the first apprentice of the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade. After Tsunade became Hokage, Shizune became the Hokage's assistant. After Tsunade retired, she retained as an assistant for the Sixth Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, and later the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.
She is voiced by Keiko Nemoto in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Megan Hollingshead in the English version of the anime.

Shizune is the niece of Dan Kato, a renowned shinobi of Konoha.

Shizune is a female ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village. A female ninja is called a Kunoichi type ninja. She specializes in medical aid and is also able to produce a deadly fog that poisons the enemy if he or she is near it. She is a major support character in the anime and manga Naruto. She is shown to aid the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade most of the time. She is shown to have some appearances in the Naruto video games as a usable character. One example of a game that she is in is Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations as a support character.
Personality[]
Her personality is not that different from others. She gets along well with other people and loves helping out any way she can. She is an animal lover and has a pet pig named Tonton. She gets super angry when people mention pork, bacon, or any other meat made from pig. She is protective and is able to bring people back to health with her healing abilities. She also has a tendency to freak out or get paranoid over some things, usually relating to making Tsunade mad.
