~ Himawari Uzumaki |
Himawari Uzumaki is a supporting character in the anime/manga series Boruto. She is a citizen of Konohagakure and, like her brother, a member of both the Uzumaki and Hyūga clans. She later became the next Jinchuriki of Kurama. Himawari is the daughter of Naruto and Hinata Uzumaki, and the younger sister of Kawaki and Boruto Uzumaki.
After Boruto was falsely accused of a crime he didn’t commit, out of all the people of the Konohagakure wanting to take him down, she knows her older brother is a good person and plans to help him at all costs, as well as find out if their parents are still alive. Because in her head Boruto was Kawaki, and it didn't make sense for him to kill Naruto, since Kawaki had saved Naruto a few times.
As a child, she is voiced by Saori Hayami in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Melissa Fahn in the English version of the anime.
As a toddler, she is voiced by Yūki Kuwahara in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Stephanie Sheh in the English version of the anime.

Her anger even frightens Kurama. Nevertheless, she is normally cheerful and compassionate when on screen, such as when she was sizably more understanding of Naurto's fatigue than Boruto, which caused his shadow clone to drop her birthday cake, and when aiding Inojin in reviving the power and passion he had in his art.
Iruka Umino lets Himawari know something special that she's just as "gutsy" and bright in her personality (especially winning people over) as her father Naruto Uzumaki is.

Like her brother, her hair flares out on the sides and she has an ahoge on the top of her head, which resembles the stem of a leaf. Jinchūriki Transformations[]
Shortly after Kurama's demise, the tailed beast resurrected itself within Himawari, making her a jinchūriki and granting her access to the same powers and immense chakra reserves that Naruto once had. This was first noticed by Daemon, who sensed an unspecified intensity emanating from her. It is believed that the lingering kernels of Kurama's life-force were drawn to Himawari due to her heritage, combining the strengths of her two powerful bloodlines and inheriting some of Kurama's chakra naturally at birth from her jinchūriki father. Three years after Boruto left Konohagakure, Kurama's resurrection matured enough to communicate with Himawari within her subconscious at will. According to Kurama, Himawari's unique heritage gives her greater compatibility with the tailed beast than any of her predecessors, allowing her to access even more power.

Boruto: Naruto the Movie[]
On the day of her birthday, Himawari and her mother were cleaning in Naruto's study when she found her father's old tattered jacket and showed it to her mother, making her smile. Later on, they met up with Boruto and his teammates in the village and Himawari excitedly told him that they had to hurry home for her birthday. On the night, Naruto was unable to make it home to celebrate and sent a shadow clone instead, which ended up disappearing and dropping her birthday cake. This angered Boruto, who had already warned Naruto to not miss the event, although Himawari was less upset than her brother.
When Boruto came home, after successfully passing the second round of the Chūnin Exams, Himawari excitedly congratulated him. She later attended the last round of the Chūnin Exams with her mother to watch Boruto's fight with Shikadai. She cheered for him when Boruto won the fight, but he ended up being disqualified for cheating. Himawari asked her mother if Boruto did something bad, but Hinata remained silent and just hugged her without actually answering. When Momoshiki and Kinshiki suddenly appeared and attacked the arena, she fled with her mother.
After the attack, when Hinata was injured while trying to protect Naruto, Himawari anxiously stood by her mother's bedside, holding her hand as she was healed by Sakura Haruno. In the anime, Himawari and Boruto shared a belated birthday dinner, with Naruto even appearing in person instead of sending a shadow clone. After Boruto punched Naruto, thinking it was a shadow clone, Naruto began scolding him, while Himawari asked for a piggy back ride. Hinata maintained order by threatening to throw the cake away. The next day, Himawari had breakfast with her family.
