Matt Horner is a major character in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.
Since the game came out, he is formerly the notable member of Raynor's Raiders and the Sons of Korhal and currently a Terran Dominion admiral, captain of the Hyperion flagship. He fought alongside Commander Jim Raynor and Crown Prince Valerian Mengsk to rise against the tyranny of the ruthless Emperor Arcturus Mengsk, and served in defense of the reformed Dominion government during the End War with Amon.
He was voiced by Brian Bloom, who also voiced Adam "Kane" Marcus in the Kane & Lynch video games, Jackie Estacado in The Darkness II, Keegan Russ in Call of Duty: Ghosts, Nick Reyes in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and William "B.J." Blazkowicz in MachineGames Wolfenstein series.

Sons of Korhal[]
Matt Horner is the second son of a minor Tyrador XI merchant who lived long for something more interesting than his boring and safe life. He found that something in the story of a visiting trader who is currently working for the Sons of Korhal with actively recruiting newcomers. He spoke of the "evil empire" known as the Terran Confederacy and gave praise to people who are brave enough to plot its downfall. Matt proved to be a perfect target: he was young, smart, idealistic, and bored. He was the perfect target and found himself supporting the cause of SOK, liking to make a difference.
After accepting the Sons of Korhal's advice, Matt Horner encourages to be enlisted and excelled as a pilot in the Terran Confederate fleet. Following the graduation with honors, he deserted the Terran Confederacy and joined the Sons of Korhal in his full time. When Mar Sara fell, Matt was the first officer on the Cormorant, a merchantman that had been converted for blockade running. The space vessel enjoyed a great deal of success in its prevention of Confederate patrols and its transport of army and material between galactic systems, earning him a reputation of getting clever and dependable.
