The French Miraculous Superhero Team is the titular main protagonist faction of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. They are the superhero team of Miraculous holders in Paris, France. Their goal is to defeat Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth/Monarch's Akumatized supervillains and Amoktized Sentimonsters, prevent him from taking the Ladybug Miraculous and the Cat Miraculous, find his hiding place, defeat him, and reclaim the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous.

In the Season 5 finale, The Final Day two-part episode, Gabriel Agreste surrendered the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses and sacrificed his life to heal Nathalie and reunite with his comatose wife Emilie on the other side. Marinette recovered and restored the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses, turned the rings back into their original forms using the Miraculous Grimoire, and the inactive members became permanent heroes, with Argos redeeming himself as well as joining the team.

Their current goal now is to find and recover the Butterfly Miraculous from the new Hawk Moth, unbeknownst to them is Cerise Bianca. Ladybug also helped her fellow Miraculous users overcome the limiter failsafe on their respective Miraculous like she and Cat Noir did so they can use their powers repeatedly without needing to revert back to their civilian identities to allow their Kwamis time to recuperate. She also permitted them to use their Miraculous for other heroic acts to help civilians when Paris is not being threatened by an Akumatized supervillain.

The team's current members are Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Vesperia, Carapace, Viperion, Pegasus, King Monkey, Ryuko, Bunnyx, Pigella, Polymouse, Purple Tigress, Minotaurox, Caprikid, Rooster Bold, Miss Hound, and Argos.

Members[]

Ladybug[]

Marinette Dupain-Cheng, also known by her superhero alter-ego, Ladybug, is the current holder of the Ladybug Miraculous. She is the daughter of Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng, Alya's best friend and Chloé's rival. She is also the leader of the team and Cat Noir's partner. She is the one who gives the additional Miraculouses to Alya, Nino, and Chloé. In Season 3 and Season 4, she also gave additional Miraculouses to Kagami, Max, Kim, Adrien (as Aspik; she does not know that he already has the Cat Miraculous), Luka, Zoe, Mylene, Rose, Juleka , Ivan, Marc, Sabrina, and Nathaniel.

Cat Noir[]

Adrien Agreste, also known by his superhero alter-ego, Cat Noir (Chat Noir in French), is the current holder of the Cat Miraculous. He is the son of Gabriel Agreste, Chloé's childhood friend, Nino's best friend, and Felix's cousin. He is also the second-in-command of the team and Ladybug's partner.

Rena Rouge[]

Alya Césaire, also known by her superhero alter-ego, Rena Rouge, is the current holder of the Fox Miraculous. She is Marinette's best friend and Nino's girlfriend. As of Season 6, she has been given her own Kwagatama from Tikki and dubbed Marinette's deputy Guardian, so if Marinette rescinds her duty as Guardian and loses her memories, Alya will become the next Guardian, keeper of Tikki and the Ladybug Miraculous, and pass Trixx and the Fox Miraculous onto another user who will take good care of them.

Carapace[]

Nino Lahiffe, also known by his superhero alter-ego, Carapace, is the current holder of the Turtle Miraculous. He is Adrien's best friend and Alya's boyfriend.

Viperion[]

Luka Couffaine, also known by his superhero alter-ego, Viperion, is Juleka Couffaine's older twin brother, and is the current holder of the Snake Miraculous. He is also a member of the Guardians and trained in Mira Kung-Fu by Grandmaster Su-Han.

Pegasus[]

Max Kanté, also known by his superhero alter-ego, Pegasus, is the current holder of the Horse Miraculous.

Alix Kubdel, also known by her superhero alter-ego, Bunnyx, is the current holder of the Rabbit Miraculous in the present timeline in "Evolution" and the future where she is an adult. In "Evolution", she also briefly uses the Dog Miraculous.

Mylène Haprèle, also known by her superhero alter-ego, Polymouse, is the current holder of the Mouse Miraculous. She is Ivan's girlfriend.

Vesperia[]

Zoé Lee, also known by her superhero alter-ego, Vesperia, is Chloé Bourgeois' half-sister and the current holder of the Bee Miraculous who is Chloé's successor, after Chloé was corrupted by Hawk Moth into joining his side and betraying the French Miraculous Superhero Team, after which Chloé is no longer the holder of the Bee Miraculous due to being expelled/banished from the team.

Purple Tigress[]

Juleka Couffaine, also known by her superhero alter-ego, Purple Tigress, is Luka Couffaine's younger twin sister, and is the current holder of the Tiger Miraculous. She is Rose Lavillant's love interest.

Argos[]

Félix Fathom, also known by his superhero alter-ego, Argos, is the current holder of the Peacock Miraculous. He is Adrien Agreste's cousin and Kagami Tsurugi's boyfriend. In the Season 5 finale, following the actions of Gimmi granting Gabriel's wish, Felix and his mother, Amelie, move to Paris from London to live in the Agreste Mansion with Adrien so he won't be alone after losing both of his parents.

• The team consists of five girls (Ladybug, Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, Bunnyx and Ryuko) and five boys (Cat Noir, Carapace, Viperion, Pegasus and King Monkey). In the end of Season 3, Queen Bee was removed, so now the team has four girls (minus Queen Bee, who was expelled) and five boys, but Zoé Lee is now the new Bee Miraculous holder and successor for Chloé who is also her half-sister.
  • In Season 4, the team consists of nine girls (Ladybug, Rena Rouge, Vesperia, Bunnyx, Ryuko, Pigella, Polymouse, Purple Tigress, and Miss Hound) and eight boys (Cat Noir, Carapace, Viperion, Pegasus, King Monkey, Minotaurox, Rooster Bold, and Caprikid) 17 in total.
    • As of "Strikeback", all members of the team become inactive, except for Ladybug and Cat Noir, as Hawk Moth managed to obtain all the Chinese Zodiac Miraculous in the Chinese Miracle Box, after Adrien's cousin, Félix Fathom, poses as him when Ladybug gave him the Dog Miraculous to become Flairmidable. Félix aka Flairmidable helped the heroes defeat Risk, but during the fight against Strikeback, Flairmidable used Fetch on Ladybug's yo-yo, stole the Dog Miraculous, and traded Gabriel Agreste all the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses from the Chinese Miracle Box (expect for the Ladybug and Cat) and his ring in exchange for the Peacock Miraculous.
      • The Rabbit Miraculous is the first to be recovered by Ladybug and Cat Noir from Monarch in "Evolution", allowing Alix to become Bunnyx in the present.
        • The Inactive members formed a group called the Resistance to support Ladybug and Cat Noir from the shadows.
        • In the Season 5 finale, Gabriel lost the Butterfly Miraculous after Bug Noire knocks it off of him, Gabriel redeemed himself by surrendering and sacrificed his life to bring back his assistant Nathalie by using his wish so that he can be reunited with his wife Emilie in the afterlife, Ladybug recovered all the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses that he turned into rings and reforged them back to their original forms, and gave them to her teammates to become permanent holders, and Argos also joins the French Miraculous Superhero Team after redeeming himself, the team now consists of nine girls (Ladybug, Rena Rouge, Vesperia, Bunnyx, Ryuko, Pigella, Polymouse, Purple Tigress, and Miss Hound) and nine boys (Cat Noir, Carapace, Viperion, Pegasus, King Monkey, Minotaurox, Rooster Bold, Caprikid, and Argos) 18 members in total.
        • However, because of Gabriel losing the Butterfly Miraculous and despite the villain redeeming himself & sacrificing his life, a new evil to arise in Paris: Cerise Bianca, who successfully managed to get her hands on the Butterfly Miraculous.
• Ladybug and Queen Bee/Vesperia's names are based on insects (a ladybug for Ladybug, a bee for Queen Bee, and a wasp for Vesperia (respectively), Cat Noir, Bunnyx, King Monkey, Pegasus, Rena Rouge, Polymouse, Pigella, Purple Tigress, Caprikid, Minotaurox, and Miss Hound's names are based on mammals (a black cat, a rabbit, a monkey, a horse, a red fox for Rena Rouge while Rena Furtive is based on an arctic fox, a mouse, a pig, a tiger, a goat, an ox and a dog respectively), Rooster Bold and Argos based on birds (a rooster and a peacock respectively), and Ryuko, Viperion, and Carapace's names are based on reptiles (a dragon, a snake, and a turtle respectively).
• Ladybug knows the secret identities of every superhero in the team, with the exception of Cat Noir. This is because all of the superheroes were given the Miraculouses by Ladybug, while Cat Noir got his Miraculous from Master Fu.
• Three of the Miraculous holders wield musical instruments as weapons. Rena Rouge (flute), Viperion (lyre), and Pigella (tambourine).
• Four of the Miraculous holders wield toys as weapons. Ladybug (yo-yo), Vesperia (spinning top), Polymouse (skip rope), and Miss Hound (a ball).
• Six of the Miraculous holders wield actual weapons. Cat Noir (staff), Carapace (shield), King Monkey (Ruyi Jingu Bang), Ryuko (sword), Purple Tigress (bolas), and Minotaurox (mallet).
• Rena Rouge/Rena Furtive, Viperion, Ryuko, Argos and Bunnyx know Marinette is Ladybug.
  • Viperion and Bunnyx also know that Adrien is Cat Noir.
• Both Ladybug and Cat Noir's superpowers, Lucky Charm & Cataclysm, are polar opposites of each other in a yin-yang like fashion, with Ladybug representing Yin and Cat Noir representing Yang.
• Rena Rouge, Vesperia, Carapace, Argos, and by extension, Hawk Moth's respective Miraculouses represent the five elements in Wu Xing: Fox, Bee, Turtle, Peacock, and Butterfly, with Fox representing fire, Bee representing Earth, Turtle representing Wood, Peacock representing Water, and Butterfly representing Metal.
• Twelve members of the team represent animals on the Chinese Zodiac. Pigella (pig), Viperion (snake), Bunnyx (rabbit), Purple Tigress (tiger), King Monkey (monkey), Pegasus (horse), Ryuko (dragon), Polymouse (mouse), Minotaurox (ox), Rooster Bold (rooster), Miss Hound (dog), and Caprikid (goat).
• So far, Ryuko and Queen Bee are the only superheroes who have their identity revealed to Hawk Moth, if not including Rena Rouge, Viperion, King Monkey and Pegasus, who had their identities revealed by Miracle Queen. However, Kagami is more responsible than Chloé.
  • Hawk Moth didn't know Vesperia, Pigella, Polymouse, Purple Tigress, Miss Hound, Rooster Bold, Caprikid, and Minotaurox's identities.
• The team also consists of siblings/half-siblings, lovers, artists, and cousins.
  • Half-sisters: Queen Bee (before her betrayal) and Vesperia.
  • Brother and sister: Viperion and Purple Tigress.
  • Lovers: Ladybug with Cat Noir, Rena Rouge with Carapace, Minotaurox with Polymouse, Ryuko with Argos, Purple Tigress with Pigella and Rooster Bold with Caprikid.
  • A writer and artist: Rooster Bold and Caprikid.
  • Cousins: Cat Noir and Argos.
• Some of the members have also been akumatized more than once and turned into different villains. Ivan into Stoneheart, Mylène into Horrificator, Alya into Lady Wifi, Rena Rage and Oblivio (along with Nino), Lê Chiến Kim into Dark Cupid and Dark Humor, Nathanael into Evillustrator, Max into Gamer, Gamer 2.0 and Gamer 3.0, Alix into Timebreaker, Marc into Reverser, Luka into Silencer and Truth, Sabrina into Vanisher and Miraculer, Nino into the Bubbler, Shell Shock, Oblivio (along with Alya) and Rocketear, Kagami into Riposte/Riposte Prime, Oni-Chan, Lies, and Ryukomori, Chloé into Antibug, Queen Wasp, Miracle Queen, Queen Banana, Penalty, Sole Destroyer, and Queen Mayor, Zoé into Sole Crusher, Rose into Princess Fragrance, and Juleka into Reflekta. Additionally Adrien has been akumatized twice in two erased alternate timelines, into Cat Blanc and Ephemeral, while Marinette herself has nearly gotten akumatized into 3 different forms (Princess Justice, Unmasker, and Panic).
  • However, in the Miraculous World special, "Paris, Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir", Marinette as Ladybug was kamikotized into Ladybiquity thanks to Betterfly's Kamikotization, the good version of Akumatization, and in the same aforementioned special, Adrien as Cat Noir became kamikotized into Celesticat, a more heroic version of Cat Blanc.
    • Alya was also kamikotized into Ubiquity in the same aformentioned special.
  • Some of the heroes´ family members were also akumatized:
    • Marinette´s parents, Tom Dupain & Sabine Cheng, her uncle, Wang Cheng (a.k.a. Cheng Sifu), and grandparents, Rolland Dupain & Gina Bianchi were akumatized into Weredad/Werebaker (Tom), Qilin (Sabine), Kung Food (Wang), Bakerix/Simpleman (Rolland), and Befana (Gina).
    • Adrien´s father, Gabriel, and his assistant & bodyguard, Nathalie and Placide I.T. (a.k.a. the Gorilla), were akumatized into The Collector/Nightormentor (Gabriel), Catalyst & Safari (Nathalie) and Gorizilla (Placide).
    • Alya´s older sister, Nora, her father, Otis, & her little sisters Ella & Etta were akumatized into Anansi (Nora), Animan (Otis), and Sapotis (Ella & Etta), and, although not related to akumatization, Alya´s mother, Marlena, was brainwashed by Kung Food´s soup.
    • Nino´s little brother, Chris, was akumatized into Christmaster and Timetagger (the former akumatized self from the present, and the latter akumatized self from the future sent by the future holder of the Butterfly Miraculous, which is none other than Cerise).
    • Luka and Juleka´s parents, Jagged Stone & Anarka Couffaine, the family´s pet crocodile Fang, alongside Jagged´s assistant Penny Rolling & fellow street musician Vivca were akumatized into Guitar Villain (Jagged), Captain Hardrock (Anarka), Troublemaker (Penny), and Desperada (Vivca).
      • Also, by some extension despite not being family members, Jagged Stone´s boss, Bob Roth, was akumatized into Moolak/Gold Record. Jagged, Anarka and Fang were also reakumatized into Crocoduel.
    • Max's mother Claudie was akumatized into Startrain.
    • Kagami's mother, Tomoe, was akumatized into Ikari Gozen/Ikari Dozen/Matagi Gozen.
    • Chloé and Zoé's parents, Andre and Audrey Bourgeois, were akumatized into Malediktator (Andre), Style Queen (Audrey), and Heart Hunter (both).
    • Mylène´s father, Fred, was akumatized into the Mime.
  • Out of all the members, some have resisted the akuma, which are Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, Viperion, Carapace, and Argos.
• Only six members of the French Miraculous superhero team Zoé, Juleka, Nino, Kagami, Kim and Sabrina have received Magical Charms so far. Kagami also receives a replacement Magical Charm after her first one gets destroyed in "Protection".
• Monarch created “Alliance Rings”, small technological rings made available to the public as highly advanced smart devices that could project a small rectangular holographic screen similar to a smartphone, Unbeknownst to everyone, their true purpose was to allow Monarch to transfer the Miraculous superpowers through his special rings, which he created by melting down and remolding the stolen Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses, into the said Alliance Ring worn by an Akumatized villain without giving them the actual Miraculouses, thus allowing him to strengthen his villains without the risk of losing a Miraculous. Monarch also wore an Alliance ring with an AI in the likeness of his wife Emilie. It was programmed to alert Monarch if anyone in Paris did something superhuman, such as travelling an abnormal distance in a short amount of time. It was made with the intention of finding Ladybug and Cat Noir in their civilian forms.
  • Rena Rouge, Carapace, Vesperia, Pegasus, King Monkey, Ryuko, Pigella, Purple Tigress, Miss Hound, Rooster Bold, and Caprikid were each wearing one.
    • Kagami is the first inactive hero to get akumatized and receive the power of her Dragon Miraculous through her Alliance Ring.
    • Kim is the second inactive hero to receive the power of his Monkey Miraculous through his Alliance Ring.
    • Sabrina is the third inactive hero to get akumatized and receive the power of her Dog Miraculous through her Alliance Ring.
    • Juleka is the fourth and final inactive hero to get akumatized and receive the power of her Tiger Miraculous through her Alliance Ring.
  • Marinette decided not to wear an Alliance ring, believing that the fitness tracker might put her secret identity at risk.
  • Adrien decided not to wear his Alliance ring, due to his discomfort about his image being everywhere on everyone's Alliance ring.
  • Ivan and Mylène didn't wear Alliance rings due to them not being made sustainably.
  • Luka didn't wear one due to his training in the Order of the Guardians.
  • Alix didn't wear one since she, as Bunnyx, was protecting the Rabbit Miraculous during her journey through time.
  • Argos doesn't wear it due to hatred for his late uncle.
    • However, for the former three, Adrien, Ivan an Mylene eventually put on Alliance Rings because of their nightmares induced by Nightormentor, and for the latter, Félix's mother, Amelie Graham de Vanily, had one.
• The French Miraculous Superhero Team members and weapons are based on DC Heroes, Marvel Heroes, Video Game Heroes, RWBY Heroes, and Anime Heroes and villains.
  • Ladybug is based on Spider-Man, Mario, Kat, Ratchet, Rivet, and Ruby Rose.
    • While Lady Noir is based on Hellcat.
  • Cat Noir is based on Catwoman, Black Panther, and Black Cat, Sly Cooper, and Blake Belladonna.
    • While Mister Bug is based on Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider.
  • Rena Rouge/Furtive is based on Vixen, Pied Piper, Carmelita Fox, Roman Torchwick, Oscar Pine, and Emerald Sustrai.
    • While Scarabella is based on Miles Morales.
    • While in her Civilian Form, Ayla Césaire is based on Oracle.
  • Carapace is based on Captain America and Bentley.
  • Viperion is based on Stacy X.
  • Pegasus is based on Doctor Strange, Cyclops, Clank, Kit, and Coco Adel.
  • Ryuko is based on Katana, Hydro-Man, Cyclone, Static Shock, Ryuko Matoi, Akame, Saya Kisaragi, Raiden Mei, Yae Sakura, Yae Miko, Electro, and Raven Branwen.
  • King Monkey is based on Monkey Prince, Shang-Chi, and Jaune Arc.
  • Vesperia is based on Bumblebee and the Wasp.
    • While Queen Bee is based on Yellowjacket.
• Polymouse is based on Ant-Man, Multiple Man, and Luigi.
• Pigella is based on Sailor Moon and Ai Hoshino
• Purple Tigress is based on White Tiger, Wolverine, Yang Xiao Long, and Adam Taurus.
• Miss Hound is based on Krypto.
• Rooster Bold is based on Rogue.
• Caprikid is based on Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Alan Scott, Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Kyle Rayner, Star Sapphire, Atrocitus, Larfleeze, Sinestro, the Green Lantern Corps, the Yellow Lantern Corps, Red Lantern Corps, the Orange Lantern Corps, the Star Sapphire Corps, the Blue Lantern Corps, the Purple Lantern Corps, the Black Lantern Corps, the White Lantern Corps, Weiss Schnee, and Neopolitan.
• Minotaurox is based on Thor Odinson, Hulk, Murray, Nora Valkyrie, Hazel Rainart, and Elm Ederne.
• Bunnyx is based on Booster Gold, Cyrille Le Paradox and Alyx.
• Argos is based on Nightwing and Raven.

• Sometimes in certain situations, some of the heroes had to use different Miraculouses: Marinette & Adrien had to swap their repsective Miraculouses in the episodes "Reflekdoll" and "Passion" to become Lady Noire and Mister Bug so that they can defeat Reflekta & her titular Sentimonster and Safari, Alya had to use the Ladybug Miraculous to become Scarabella in a few episodes, Zoé had to use the Cat Miraculous to become Kitty Noire, Marinette used the Mouse Miraculous to become Multimouse in "Kwamibuster" to save Tikki & Plagg from the titular villain, Adrien used the Snake Miraculous to become Aspik in "Desperada" to defeat the titular villain, but failed many times until he decided to give it up to Luka for him to become Viperion, and Alix used the Dog Miraculous to become Canigirl in "Evolution" to help Ladybug and Rabbit Noir to retrieve the Rabbit Miraculous from Monarch and to protect it from him.
  • Likewise, Félix also used the Dog Miraculous to become Flairmidable in "Shadow Moth's Final Attack", but he did this for evil purposes.

• Cat Noir & Rena Rouge were the only two members of the team who changed their identities (Cat Walker and Rena Furtive to be exact), but for the former, the immediately went back to his Cat Noir persona while the latter returned to her Rena Rouge persona after Monarch's defeat and sacrifice.
  • Later, Ladybug did the same, as Chronobug, to save her timeline.
• Some heroes had to unify the powers of two Miraculouses (the one they have and a different one) to fight evil: Ladybug unified the Ladybug Miraculous with the Mouse Miraculous, the Dragon Miraculous, the Cat Miraculous, the Fox Miraculous, the Bee Miraculous, the Horse Miraculous, the Rabbit Miraculous, and the Butterfly Miraculous to become Multibug, Multinoir, Dragonbug, Lady Bee, Pegabug, Pennybug, Ladyfly, and Bug Noire, Cat Noir unified the Cat Miraculous with the Snake Miraculous & Rabbit Miraculous to become Snake Noir & Rabbit Noir, and Canigirl unified the Dog Miraculous with the Rabbit Miraculous to become Bunny Dog.
