Kevin's Theme Song Takeover is a parody of the Hamster & Gretel Theme Song about Kevin Grant-Gomez as part of the Theme Song Takeover series of shorts.
Lyrics[]
Kevin (spoken): Yup, this is still my life.
Who's the normal guy behind your favorite super-duo
Who's got a license and knows how to drive a van
Who got overlooked when they were giving superpowers
Who's got at least an average ability to plan
He's Kevin (Kevin, Kevin)
Gretel's Older Brother
(If he can't do it, someone stronger probably can)
He's Kevin (Kevin, Kevin)
Gretel's Older Brother
If what you're looking for isn't necessarily someone with
superpowers but someone whose sister has superpowers
Then he's your man!
Trivia[]
- This is notably the first Theme Song Takeover that is not performed by the character taking over the theme song. Rather, the performer is the same as the person performing the original theme song, which in this case is Dan Povenmire.
- This released along with the new episodes, "The Opposite of Smart/Birthday Besties".
- The logo used in the Theme Song Takeover that reads "Kevin, Gretel's Older Brother", is based on a preliminary Hamster & Gretel logo, rather than the final logo used for the series.[1]
- This was the final Theme Song Takeover short to be released in 2022.
Errors[]
- In the scene where Kevin tries to open a pickle jar, a blue line used for the brighter color on Hamster's muzzle is present.
