Sakura Pretzel (桜・プレッツェル Sakura Purettseru?) is a character that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.

Sakura is shown to be hardworking and healthy despite her age, and has no problem taking care of her family or helping out on the farm. She loves and cares deeply for her grandchildren. Although cold at times, she can be quite understanding as evidenced during the incident between Mikazuki Augus and Gaelio Bauduin, where the former chokes the latter due to a misunderstanding, and she told Mikazuki to stop as he was being too hasty.
History[]
Grandmother of Biscuit, Cookie, Cracker, and Savarin. She runs a corn farm, "Sakura Farm," in the independent autonomous district of Chryse on Mars, but the harvested crops are bought cheaply as raw materials for biofuel, so she lives off the money sent by Biscuit, who works for CGS (Tekkadan). During the harvest season, the members of the CGS program also come to help out, and she is acquainted with them as well. He is also acquainted with Mikazuki and Atra Mixta, and is especially loved by Mikazuki, who calls her " Sakura-chan" (cherry blossom girl).
Despite the fact that the Tekkadan fought in the Earth sphere and the lost two of her grandchildren, Biscuit and Savarin as a result, the group expanded the size of its organization and formed a partnership with her plantation to provide a window of opportunity for the boy soldiers to avoid having to fight in the future. At the same time, the group also formed a partnership with Admoss Company, a business started by Kudelia Aina Bernstein, and at Kudelia's suggestion, established an orphanage within the plantation.
