Gundam Factory Yokohama will stay open until 2024!

On 2023-02-20, Gundam Factory Yokohama announced that the exhibition period has been extended until March 31, 2024. They have published the following statements:

Evolving G Corporation (Head office: Suginami Ward, Tokyo, CEO: Shin Sasaki) has extended the GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY) operation until March 31, 2024.

After consulting with Yokohama City and concerned parties, the decision on the extension was made owing to the enthusiastic requests of many people who couldn't visit the facility due to the continued impact of COVID-19 in 2022.

There are plans to continue holding activities through GFY such as continuing to showcase the ever-popular "Moving Gundam" light-up at night in spring.

After finding a model of Knight Gundam from SD Gundam Gaiden, it has reawaken my passion for the stories. It makes me want to fill in the stubs about the series as well as put up a new page involving the Knight King story. But there's a lot to do in order to fulfill my ambition. It was recently announced at the Gundam Next Future event that Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury will air its first cour in the Sunday 5 PM timeslot from October to December 2022. From January to March 2023, the timeslot will be occupied by broadcast versions of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt and Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative (four episodes each). The second cour of the Witch from Mercury will resume in April, airing until June 2023.

On Wednesday, Crunchyroll listed Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury in their Fall 2022 simulcast lineup with the following synopsis:

One girl from Mercury will learn the power of Mobile Suits after enlisting in an elite academy.

The show will be simulcast with subtitles in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS

On Friday, Crunchyroll announced plans to release Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island in select theaters for a limited engagement this month, including English-subtitled and dubbed showings in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Links to buy tickets for North American screenings are currently available on the Crunchyroll Movie Night website. Ticket sales in Australia are set to begin on September 14.

Why was the color scheme changed, and why can't I properly read the text on the infoboxes anymore? Who did this?

I miss having that custom-made editing template that we had on the site, something that made it easier for us to create and edit articles. I hope it's able to come back in some form.

Basically this is just showing the setting & characters that appeared in New Gundam Breaker. Although it has been around for a while, how come nobody even bothered to even make pages for the characters, and the school that it takes place in? I'm sure someone will be able to do so one day, cause even a bad game deserves to be thoroughly checked out for character information.

The characters that have appeared in the free-to-play online game Battle Operation 2. I'm surprised nobody even bothered to even make pages of them. All I know, is that anyone who's in a gundam game, even if they're minor, or appeared once, they deserve to be recognized, and well liked.

I can't wait for the IBO show or movie that Sunrise has teased about. I hope it is during the Collamity War, and we get to see more of the Gundams (and that the Mobile Suit shown is the Barbatos). I don't see how it could be a sequel because of how they ended Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2. I would love to see the Flouros in its white form as well.

I am posting this humbly asking if anyone that happens to be a fan of mecha anime would be interested in helping out the /m/ Mecha Wikia. The creator of the board made a few pages and abandoned it, leaving no moderators or administrators to take care of it. The wikia was made to evacuate mechanical information/in universe stuff Wikipedia complains is "fancruft" and similar information. The good news is that the vast majority of it is complete and all information necessary that was on Wikipedia and has since been deleted has found a new home now. I know what you penguins and ducks are thinking, why waste time on making zip files on Gundam Age since it has are very few fans and that no one cares if its it’s translated or not?

Here’s the thing, even tho I considered the show a guilty pleasure of mine, it’s still a part of Level 5 history, granted a black stain on its resume and possibly one of the reason why Level 5 is not that popular in the west but still I can’t really give my full opinion on the thing cause the puzzles are still missing.

These are my personal thoughts about at least the DWG series of games. I do believe in a way that the DW series of games is unique but the DWG series of games is lacking a few things I did like the friend/rival type thing in DWG2 but also in DWG2 their were certian suits missing. I would love to have seen Exia, Dynams, Virtue, Kyrios, Throne Eins, Zwi, Dri from the 00 series of Gundam though for Virtue I could picture a situation or a certian button combo that would let you ditch the armor for it and activate GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh a similar thing could be done for Seravee since the Seraphem is on its back instead of inside the armor either a situation would arise where you could detach Seraphem and use it or a button combo could be used to…

I find the whole concept really interesting and would like to learn more about it but am struggling to even figure out basic stuff like what order the mobile suits were used in. I understand there is a likely a scarcity of information on it ( Was it so niche we don't have scans of most of it? ) but any help clearing up that and any of the following questions to what degree is currently possible would be greatly appreciated.

I am going to begin a project shortly.  It is going to focus on the lesser known of the various SD Gundam lines: the Gundlander series.

I have copied the character list of all four chapters of Gundlander from a Japanese translated to English wiki.  I'm going to focus on the character list first and foremost.  Then I will add the storyline when I think I am ready to start making pages for the four chapters.  This will take some time.  Anyone willing to work with me on this endeaver is more than welcome, as I know a lot of these need proof reading.  Wish me luck.
