The Silver Card is a special item that grants discounts at shops. In most games in which it appears, it grants a fifty percent discount, though in Fire Emblem Engage, it only reduces prices by thirty percent. The specifics of how it is used also varies between games. In titles where shopping is only available at shops on battlefields, the Silver Card must most often be held by the unit doing the shopping to gain the discount. In other titles, the Silver Card's effect is granted to all units so long as the player has acquired it, and doesn't need to be held by any character.
In most games that the Silver Card appears in, it is only possible to obtain one per playthrough. In The Blazing Blade, a second Silver Card may be obtained via a data transfer with the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! bonus disc.
In Radiant Dawn, the use of the Silver Card is limited to the chapter it is acquired in, and it will disappear when the player chooses to leave the base.
In Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem, the Silver Card can neither be used in the Battle Preparations menu nor the Online Shop. It can only be used in shops that appear on the battlefields.
In Awakening, the Silver Card's effect will be activated so long as it remains in the convoy when shops are entered. It is not necessary for the card to be held by a unit for its effect to trigger.
In Engage, a Silver Card is included in the first wave of the game's DLC Expansion Pass, and is found in EmblemTiki's Divine Paralogue, The Ancestor. If it is not collected before the Paralogue's completion, it can be acquired when revisiting the map during a skirmish battle. The card is classified as a key item in the inventory and does not need to be held by a unit to receive its discount.
Allows its holder to purchase weapons and items at half their original price.
The Silver Card is procured by initiating a 3 star conversation "Item Shop" in base during Part III Chapter 2. It is valid until you exit the base upon which it disappears. It is not dependant on who is in possesion of the item (It is still effective whilst in the convoy).
Therefore, a good strategy is to sell for 2000g before exiting the base.

Trivia[]
In the English language version of Radiant Dawn, the help description of the Silver Card erroneously refers to "training points". Training points are an element of the forging point system exclusive to the Japanese version of the game.
